5-3 at the halfway mark- I knew it..........not. Tied for the 3rd best record in the AFC, the remaining 8 games-3 are probably losses ( patriots and texans (2) the other 5 are 50/50, which would leave a 7-9,8-8 record............. As it does every week and will every week, for the next 10+ years, it starts and ends with Andrew Luck, it's hard to narrow down his attributes to one thing, but his knack for avoiding the rush and keeping a play alive is amazing, with the O-line trying to find it's
One of my friends from right here in Texas' favorite team are the Miami Dolphins, which we happen to take on this week. I can't wait for this one and I know that not only will me and my friends' bragging rights over one another be on the line, but possibly and probably the AFC Wild Card playoff spot. #ColtsStrong #NewEraColts #GoColts
If you're going to the game on Sunday, be sure to wear your #CHUCKSTRONG shirt, bracelets, take posters, etc., word is Coach Pagano may be in attendence!! SHOW SOME LOVE!!! #CHUCKSTRONG #COLTSTRONG
Hope you all have a safe November. As well as be safe and sound. Of course it is the elections on Tuesday the 6th. As well as how it is now getting down to the nitty gritty. Due to the playoffs on the line. As Luck is a star in the making! Also when fall begins to show the leaves coming on down! Have a safe November!
A lot of predictions, a lot of smack talk. Battle of the Rookies, Dolphins jumping to a lead early. Colts held to 2 touch downs. Enough already, the # 8 pick may not even play on Sunday due to that Left knee issue. Miami 30 points plus?? The Dolphins Rollin in like a tidal wave?? In Lucas Oil, I think not. Let’s take a look at what we are fishing with: Ryan Tannehill: 1,472 passing yards, four touchdowns (and one rushing score), six interceptions, 59.1 completion percentage, 75.8 passer ratin
Hi, Colts fans! Everyone here at USA Football is proud to share our city with the Colts. As the Colts' official youth development partner, we work with the team on all sorts of projects that we want to share with you! Here's one we think you'll be interested in: USA Football staffers Lia Reich and Heather Bremer got the opportunity to visit the Colts practice facility and ask the players some very important questions. OK, not really important ... but they were fun. We wanted to know all about th
Nearly forty dead, $20B in damages, and eight million without power. As now the clean up and the aftermath has begun. With the NYSE beginning to open back up. And people's homes and businesses are under water. It could take up to two weeks or more to clean it all up!
As some of you know, I am somewhat involved with the "Special Needs" kids/young adults in my community. Several times a year Ron and I perform for them at dances, and I help with the Special Olympics Track Practices and Events in the Spring. This past weekend was the Annual Halloween Party for several of them. Good Friends of ours, with a Beautiful Home, host a Halloween Event Every Year. They go "all out" decorating both the inside and outside of their home, complete with a Haunted Trail
The Colts are sitting pretty at 4-3 right now. We would earn a 6th seed if the season ended today. Now of coarse we wanna see our guys reach higher, but what a great year so far compared to last year. Wayne has really stepped up as well as all of our rookies! What a finish to the last game with that epic touchdown throw!!! I am darn proud to be a fan right now. Feel the fire, feel the flame! Stand on up and shout their name! LETS GO COLTS!! LETS GO COLTS!!
Wow Nail biter but worth seeing Ballard leap for TD in OT!!!! If you didn't know who he was before he def has made his mark as someone to watch. It was a rough game from the 2nd quarter on, I swear if they played and clicked together all 4 quarters the record would be different but again it is what it is. Rebuilding is a work in progress, watching they grow and adjust to each other has been edge of the seat exciting. Luck had some rough passes, leaving me curious as to where he was throwing i

How bout it? Doesn't that feel good? On the road, final drive run through the throats of the TItans, capitalized by a ridiculous Ballard TD. These wins have different feelings than in recent memory with Manning. With Peyton, we just expected to win every game. Now, things are different and you hope they can pull it out, but don't quite have the same amount of confidence in the boys. Defense continues to step up even though QBs are really efficient against us, somehow they aren't scoring very muc
Classic example of............... whatever it takes, with the overtime win vs the Titans, the Colts stand at 4-3, 4th best record in the AFC. I have totally given up trying to make sense of anything I see each Sunday or where, any team is, at any point during the season. Maybe some of it can be explained by playing a divisional rival and those games are not the norm. Most of the year, there has been very little success running the ball, although it has looked better , of late. Today, the Colts
(English follows) Hola Coltmates! Do you all have any Halloween plans? As I am just going to give out candy. Or going to the church where I go and just walk around. I also will be dressing up as a beatnik. It is a nice alternative IMHO! Don't know about you all! But if you ask, a beatnik is like a pre-hippie of the 1950s-1960s. Those that are baby boomers would know that LOL! Would love to hear your plans!
This is something that you might here in a comedy routine: "Today, a perfect day, my neighbor had their sewer pumped. And it was going along just fine until the "sewer pumpers" were almost done; that's when it happened. The truck's brakes gave away and the truck picked up momentum as it started down the steep backyard. The two "sewer pumpers" and my neighbor leaped out of the way, just in time, before the truck smooshed them into greasy-spots. Then it barreled down the steepest part of the hill,

First I need to shout out to WNBA Indiana Fever for winning!!!! Awesome job ladies. Colts football I love you, not the most exciting game I've been to but still a great time and the Colts putting that W for 3-3 I'll take it =) Colts controlled the clock having possesion for over 35 mins, it was great to see Angerer back with 2 tackles and 1 assist. Bethea lead tackles with 4. Defense will continue to improve the talent is awesome and they'll get there. Reggie Wayne lead with 6 catches 73 yard
Better, closer, warmer... All right, we got the win. It wasn't pretty. It was ugly, brutal. No matter, it's a W. After I complained about Arians being so complacent and not going for anything or trying to do anything last week, he goes for two 4th downs (one resulted in offside). One of which was with about 5mins to go in the third Q on our OWN 24. Wow. If you didn't know the meaning of ballsy, now you do. We are up 14-13 at the time, it seemed as though Arians had no trust in the defense as Cle
.500, for starters, which considering, is pretty good and the 3rd best record in the AFC (currently-talk about parity!) The offense is lead by a soon-to-be-great QB, who is still learning the difference between professional and college football. He has at his disposal a very good arsenal of weapons to choose from. The running backs by committee, isn't really the problem, there is talent there, I really like Ballard and think he'll turn out to be a more than capable RB. The O-line on a good day,

It's LeBron being LeBron. I have never been a fan of his for many reasons. He looks like a decent family man and takes great care of his kids + has never been in trouble with the law so I respect him for that - he is also a Great Basketball player, best today. Having said that his ego is outrageous, he left Cleveland in his prime because he couldn't win a Championship. Peyton Manning for example never thought about leaving Indy because he couldn't win for years against the Pats and Steelers in
Yes, that is a fair point some individuals just like to stir the pot & cause controversy & mayhem simply because their life has not turned out as well as they wish it had. Like it's somebody's else's fault that they don't make enough money or have a pretty girlfriend or any girlfriend for that matter.
Look, I'm not trying to minimize any fatality white, black, male, or female & I know that being a police officer is not an easy job. I get that. I just wanna get to an atmo
I am getting ready to get off work so I will have to respond to your Post tomorrow in more detail but all great points. Racism will probably never go away unfortunately as there are just people in this world that are ignorant and violent. I am not sure how anyone can solve some of the violence talking place. It just seems to get worse and worse with groups of people getting shot in night clubs, theaters, etc. for no reason. White cops aren't doing themselves any favors either by shooting unarmed
Thank you CBE for your response to my blog entry. I know how busy peoples daily lives are so I am grateful for feedback & different points of view on this subject matter.
Max Kellerman on ESPN 'First Take' has made the intriguing argument that in America anyway the Natl. Anthem standing up during it is a mandatory gesture of compliance as opposed to a voluntary one where dissent is frowned upon & even called out publicly if you refuse to stand up while the Star Spangled Bann
Here's my short take on Colin and what is going on: I have no problem with people protesting about something they believe in or serious matters like racism, that is everyone's right to do so. Where I have the problem is dissing the American flag. It doesn't accomplish anything and it really gets many people to dislike you and question why you are doing that. To me it's dissing the Military and the USA when you don't acknowledge the flag. All you are doing is drawing negative attention to yoursel
I hope you're hanging in there brother as well as can be expected given such heart wrenching circumstances. Miss you man. I'm here if you need me. God bless, my friend.
YSGC,
Thank you for being brave enough to share such personal information about the loss of your beloved father. That took a tremendous amount of courage on your part.
Naturally, that void in your life will never be filled of course, but this line made me smile:
"He insisted we bury him in his Colts gear" Awesome!
When are people going to realize that the offensive line talent in last year's draft, outside of La'ell Collins, just wasn't that good? Sure we could've used a couple of picks on some mediocre o-line talent, and people would be right here, with their 20/20 hindsight, saying that they were terrible picks, and that Grigson should be fired.
Instead, we took a WR. People didn't like the pick, as the Colts allegedly were already "stacked at WR." Well, fast forward to this year: Johnson is
