Still finding this site a bit difficult to navigate through, so hoping the following is getting out there... I am curious to know if anyone knows how one gets the opportunity to participate in the field games during game day... kick for money, make a match, who is it, etc... ?? Anyone? Go Colts!
Hello fellow Colts fans my name is Glenn and this is my first blog. I am like many of you are a Die Hard Colts fan. I bleed blue like the rest of you. This is my first year as a season ticket holder. I have been to multiple games over the years, but this is the first year I will make the trip from Michigan City Indiana to all 10 home games. Anyone on here attend the Packers game two weeks ago? The first half felt like we were visiting Lambau Field. The Cheeseheads were everywhere. Oh and that g
Really this is a trying season as Pagano is fighting leukemia and not just him as a new coach and a new QB in Luck. But this season seems to be more emotional than ever. As hope that the Colts look at this and forget really 2011. For 2012 seems to be a more personal level due to Pagano IMHO! Hope you all feel that way.
Well we all know there are going to be good and bad games, but yesterday was painful. You can't go on a road game and never make it in the end zone. First Luck has shown he can move his feet, so when it's 3rd and 2 and you move a yard to throw the ball you don't just go another yard for the 1st, instead you threw the ball and it was dropped....play your game Luck, I don't know if you were told to stop with your running or what but you looked out of your element. O-Line bloacking needs to be o
I mentioned that 5-6 games would should indicate where this team was at, then last (2nd half) week happened, that kinda messed up the pattern. There is always positives and negatives to any win or loss, next week will cement my thoughts, but I really don't think 1 game, after 5, is going to change that. Before I talk about this weeks game, it must be said, you are never as bad as you look when you lose ( or as good-when you win) is right on the money. Last week, the Colts looked like a playoff c
Hey, last week, great win. Good comeback after a terrible start. Jets game, terrible tackling, terrible run defense, the Jets got five yards on every run. I mean, it wasn't fun to watch. Second half, we make some stops on defense and then we punt it, two times. Sure, the first punt was needed after intential grounding, but the second punt. Run the ball two times, make good yardage in Jets territory, 4th and 2. Hey, our defense isn't doing anything this week, we can't stop the run, so let's punt
Whats wrong with this picture?? 13 Passes for 212 yards. The game winning TD. Not the focus in this photo of our beloved Reggie. By showing support for our leader Chuck P wearin an orange mouthpiece, and, gloves ( the color that signifies leukemia awareness) the NFL is more than likely imposing a fine for violation of the "no wiggle room" player uniform code. Shame on you NFL...
Please someone make some Chuck Strong bracelets. Everyone can't wear the t-shirts. Make some of those rubber bracelets that we can wear all the time. Please!!!!!!
Wow what a game, first half was painful to watch, it's like they forgot there was a game being played. Going into to half-time down by 18 points it was looking pretty grim, so whatever was said at half-time to light a fire under them to fight for a victory worked. I have to give props to Luck, he's still a little rusty in the passing but can move, granted he was sacked 4 times but got back up and moved forward, even scored a TD. Not to shabby. Huge shout out to Reggie Wayne, career high of 2
The game ball and everything went to Chuck. As he is dealing with an opponent after an emotional win. As that was for him and his family. Really emotional and come from behind win. For the team and by the team to their coach. Good for the Colts and Congrats!
I thought by the 5th or 6th game, there would be a pattern and we would have a pretty good idea where the team was at......... The first 3 1/2 games , they looked pretty much the same, then..........came the second half of this weeks game and another team showed up, I am not sure which team is the real Colts, the next 2 weeks should help clear that up.....or not. For whatever reason it happened, that was a good sign...or..... to be down 21-3 vs a team that good, at the half and come back and w
As fans of a NFL franchise, we all have games throughout a team's history that may not always be significant in the standings, but carry insurmountable significance in our hearts and minds. This was one of those games. To begin, we journey back before the season to a sunny evening in Indianapolis. JMV, a known local radio host, had a NFL.com reporter by the name of Ian Rapoport on his show around 5 PM. At the end of the segment, JMV asked Rapoport what his prediction for the Colts season would b
One would think after watching the Colts battle to beat the Packers I would want to talk about that. But is isn't the reason I wanted to blog today. I am sitting here watching and listening to all my sports talk like I do everday during football season, and I am appalled by a story I am hearing. The story of the home fans cheering Matt Cassel being knocked out. I wish I had a platform to let athletes know that I am NOT one of those fans. When I watch football it is because I truly love the sport
Chuck - Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!!! Remember our head on collision at Paddock elementary School? You are the toughest person i have ever known and know you will beat this..!!!! Congrats on your New Job and I cant wait to see you on the field!!! Brad and Dianne Johnson - Littleton CO

What an incredible game from all aspects. Sure, the first half left a lot to be desired, but the Colts brought it in the second half. Donald Brown looked great, it has been a long time since he was relevant in a game and he could not have picked a better game to step it up. We all know that in order to run the ball we have to run block and the Colts did this with a hodgepodge of an o-line. Shipley and the rest of the o-line did ok. Luck was under pressure a lot during this game and his wheels ke
Everything Will Be Okay: Coach Arians can handle the Head Coaching position Grigson has a method to his madness and knows what he doing Coby Fleener will be a GREAT NFL player The Receiving Corps can replace Austin Collie The OL will gel together and remember Everything Will Be Okay!!!!!!!
Life throws alot of INT's. Seems like our COLTS have had more than expected. Tough times, you bet. Game changers for sure, but, not the way you think. We are all reeling from the news of our leader, but, WHAT WOULD CHUCK DO?? He embraces the fact that the orginal kings of the turf will be making a return on Sunday. The duo of Mathis and Freeny will dropping in to Lucas oil to reek havoc against GB. He's baaack ... Pat Angerer no one does it better than 51. I expect Jeff Saturday to get a standing
Know the feeling as several members of my family faced what you had in a sense. But you got the most toughest opponent you will ever face. Be praying for you and be in thought for you Coach. For you and your family. Peace and blessings!
It's LeBron being LeBron. I have never been a fan of his for many reasons. He looks like a decent family man and takes great care of his kids + has never been in trouble with the law so I respect him for that - he is also a Great Basketball player, best today. Having said that his ego is outrageous, he left Cleveland in his prime because he couldn't win a Championship. Peyton Manning for example never thought about leaving Indy because he couldn't win for years against the Pats and Steelers in
Yes, that is a fair point some individuals just like to stir the pot & cause controversy & mayhem simply because their life has not turned out as well as they wish it had. Like it's somebody's else's fault that they don't make enough money or have a pretty girlfriend or any girlfriend for that matter.
Look, I'm not trying to minimize any fatality white, black, male, or female & I know that being a police officer is not an easy job. I get that. I just wanna get to an atmo
I am getting ready to get off work so I will have to respond to your Post tomorrow in more detail but all great points. Racism will probably never go away unfortunately as there are just people in this world that are ignorant and violent. I am not sure how anyone can solve some of the violence talking place. It just seems to get worse and worse with groups of people getting shot in night clubs, theaters, etc. for no reason. White cops aren't doing themselves any favors either by shooting unarmed
Thank you CBE for your response to my blog entry. I know how busy peoples daily lives are so I am grateful for feedback & different points of view on this subject matter.
Max Kellerman on ESPN 'First Take' has made the intriguing argument that in America anyway the Natl. Anthem standing up during it is a mandatory gesture of compliance as opposed to a voluntary one where dissent is frowned upon & even called out publicly if you refuse to stand up while the Star Spangled Bann
Here's my short take on Colin and what is going on: I have no problem with people protesting about something they believe in or serious matters like racism, that is everyone's right to do so. Where I have the problem is dissing the American flag. It doesn't accomplish anything and it really gets many people to dislike you and question why you are doing that. To me it's dissing the Military and the USA when you don't acknowledge the flag. All you are doing is drawing negative attention to yoursel
I hope you're hanging in there brother as well as can be expected given such heart wrenching circumstances. Miss you man. I'm here if you need me. God bless, my friend.
YSGC,
Thank you for being brave enough to share such personal information about the loss of your beloved father. That took a tremendous amount of courage on your part.
Naturally, that void in your life will never be filled of course, but this line made me smile:
"He insisted we bury him in his Colts gear" Awesome!
When are people going to realize that the offensive line talent in last year's draft, outside of La'ell Collins, just wasn't that good? Sure we could've used a couple of picks on some mediocre o-line talent, and people would be right here, with their 20/20 hindsight, saying that they were terrible picks, and that Grigson should be fired.
Instead, we took a WR. People didn't like the pick, as the Colts allegedly were already "stacked at WR." Well, fast forward to this year: Johnson is
