Football is back to order with the regular refs. As glad that they are back. After that so-called Fail Mary pass. They got a standing ovation in the TNF contest with Browns-Ravens! Which is rare for them to be getting one. But don't expect the honeymoon to last. But still, they KNOW how the game is ran! Thank goodness they are back!

Ever the optimist, I let my hopes get a little high this year. After watching the preseason and looking at the schedule, I felt that 8-9 wins was entirely possible. The loss to Jacksonville took away one of those wins, and couple that with the way the team has played the first few weeks and it looks like 6 wins could even be a little optimistic at this point. But I’m not ready to give up hope yet. But I do have to look at the team for what our strengths and weaknesses are. Unfortunately, we
Really after last night's game, the Packers got left out to dry. And that the regular refs need to take note. End the strike, put aside differences, work together, and COME BACK TO THE GAME! As the replacement refs are really ruining the game for players, coaches, teams, and most of all the fans! As even though the regular refs can be really blasted, still they are not as nearly blasted as the replacements are being! Please bring back the regular refs!
To start off my blog I'm just going to post a quick post... I wanna know what everyone's opinion of Peyton's season on the Broncos so far. I have not been able to watch any but the first game (online @ NBC) which gave me the thought that our Peyton was back! But, what do the rest of you think from the past two weeks against the Falcons and Texans! Comment!
A lot of problems with this loss. Obviously, good getting out to a lead in first half, that's about it. MJD? Everyone knew he was going to have a good game, couldn't stop that. Not disappointed though because like I said, we knew that was going to happen. First, why is Pagano challenging that INT? He was obviously out of bounds, just a complete waste of timeout when one was needed in the 2nd half. Who told him to challenge that? Look at it once, and you'd know. Second straight week we come out w

Rebuilding teams is hard and potential the Colts have is great. Yes losing is never the plan but does happen. Bad decisions, our replacement refs need to get a clue, and 2 major needs that changed the game. 1 being missed field goal, don't get me wrong huge fan of Adam but you have to get those, we all have bad days I get it. 2) Of all times for our defense to miss assignments with 45 seconds to go truly wasn't the moment to pick. Not everything was bad about the game however Luck proved aga

All pre season and the first 2 games, we all are looking for signs, signs of where this team is at and where they are going. This is the 1 game that looking at the schedule I was confident it was a game the Colts could/should win. The Jags were the consensus worst team in the league and have not played well the first 2 games and it was a home game, that all adds up to a win for the Colts or that's why they play the games, seems like each year, there is more and more parity in the league, teams w
Indeed he made the NFL what is is today. As the NFL and what we see would not be where it is. Without the legacy of both Ed and Steve. RIP Steve, gone but not forgotten!
Edgerrin James, joins the Colts ring of honor this Sunday.
Let's show him some Coltstrong love. Post your message to Edge here.
Coltstrong braclets to be sent to 10 fans who post a message to Edge! Also, 2 seat cards like the pic below, to two fans who post
I did a couple of blogs recently on the greatest Qb's and RB's in NFL history. The Colts really haven't had alot of Hall of fame type players on the defensive side of the ball in their history. On D-line there was Gino Marchetti and Art Donovan (from the Baltimore days) and Freeney and Mathis of the current team. At LB there was Mike Curtis and Ted Hendricks, in the secondary there really hasn't been many of significance, hard to tell what could have been for Bob Sanders and Bubba smith who both
Past Manning fan in the quest to save a little green, converts a Manning to a Luck Jersey. Don't know about you, seems like bad LUCK to me. Just when you thought you'd seen it all.... NFL fan's truly a special breed....
Rip to the legendary Steve Sabol a pioneer for nfl films who shaped the way we see the nfl. u will be missed by all including the fans. thank u steve sabol for spread your vision to the nfl.
It's LeBron being LeBron. I have never been a fan of his for many reasons. He looks like a decent family man and takes great care of his kids + has never been in trouble with the law so I respect him for that - he is also a Great Basketball player, best today. Having said that his ego is outrageous, he left Cleveland in his prime because he couldn't win a Championship. Peyton Manning for example never thought about leaving Indy because he couldn't win for years against the Pats and Steelers in
Yes, that is a fair point some individuals just like to stir the pot & cause controversy & mayhem simply because their life has not turned out as well as they wish it had. Like it's somebody's else's fault that they don't make enough money or have a pretty girlfriend or any girlfriend for that matter.
Look, I'm not trying to minimize any fatality white, black, male, or female & I know that being a police officer is not an easy job. I get that. I just wanna get to an atmo
I am getting ready to get off work so I will have to respond to your Post tomorrow in more detail but all great points. Racism will probably never go away unfortunately as there are just people in this world that are ignorant and violent. I am not sure how anyone can solve some of the violence talking place. It just seems to get worse and worse with groups of people getting shot in night clubs, theaters, etc. for no reason. White cops aren't doing themselves any favors either by shooting unarmed
Thank you CBE for your response to my blog entry. I know how busy peoples daily lives are so I am grateful for feedback & different points of view on this subject matter.
Max Kellerman on ESPN 'First Take' has made the intriguing argument that in America anyway the Natl. Anthem standing up during it is a mandatory gesture of compliance as opposed to a voluntary one where dissent is frowned upon & even called out publicly if you refuse to stand up while the Star Spangled Bann
Here's my short take on Colin and what is going on: I have no problem with people protesting about something they believe in or serious matters like racism, that is everyone's right to do so. Where I have the problem is dissing the American flag. It doesn't accomplish anything and it really gets many people to dislike you and question why you are doing that. To me it's dissing the Military and the USA when you don't acknowledge the flag. All you are doing is drawing negative attention to yoursel
I hope you're hanging in there brother as well as can be expected given such heart wrenching circumstances. Miss you man. I'm here if you need me. God bless, my friend.
YSGC,
Thank you for being brave enough to share such personal information about the loss of your beloved father. That took a tremendous amount of courage on your part.
Naturally, that void in your life will never be filled of course, but this line made me smile:
"He insisted we bury him in his Colts gear" Awesome!
When are people going to realize that the offensive line talent in last year's draft, outside of La'ell Collins, just wasn't that good? Sure we could've used a couple of picks on some mediocre o-line talent, and people would be right here, with their 20/20 hindsight, saying that they were terrible picks, and that Grigson should be fired.
Instead, we took a WR. People didn't like the pick, as the Colts allegedly were already "stacked at WR." Well, fast forward to this year: Johnson is
