"It is indeed tough to lose while carrying a horse shoe on one's helmet and having a lot of Luck for good measure."- Jaggededge. Greetings all! I did a blog awhile back called, "Looking Forward To The Day That 'Luck' Runs Out For The Colts." http://forums.colts....-for-the-colts/ It was my first blog on this site. The blog was more of a play on words and it was tongue in cheek at the time. However, at this time the title of that blog may hold a very ominous overtone or meaning for Luck and the
Clear eyes full hearts can´t lose.

WOW GOT TO LOVE IT!!!!! First I have to say Thank you Luck!!!! You continue to prove that you are the correct to lead the Colts into where they want to go in the future. Yes 3 interceptions not idea but with one quick pass to Avery with 4 seconds left in game.......AMAZING!!!! Colts had possession of the ball less than 23 mins and even with the hiccups made every minute count to the end. Shout outs to Avery, Ballard, Brazill, and Fleener for getting in the end zone, Adam for extra points Hitl
I am a little lost here, I just watched a game and saw a team that was pretty much dominated, even though the rushing stats were adequate (5.0- average was very good, but only 18 attempts ) and didn't really appear like it was a threat all game long, the o-line has regressed the past 2 games, Luck-who looked very sharp in the first half and the last 2 drives, looked lost for most of the second half and a defense that rarely gets turnovers, has had very little pass rush, most of the year, got l
One day while having lunch in the cafeteria in middle school. I heard my name go out over the announcement speaker, they told me to come down to the office; that my mother was waiting for me. I was overjoyed for a moment, hoping I'd be getting out of school. At the time my Grandma had cancer and my mom would let me play hookie on occasion so I could help my grandma around her house with misc chores and such. I had no problem keeping up in school so it didn't interfere with my school work.
Anyone ever watch The Ghost and the Darkness? It's a movie about a couple of crazy Lions that wreck havoc among a group of African bridge builders. All in all they take the lives of 130+ people.. It took the bridge builder and a rifle to end it all. The Colts are also in a similar place as they are building right now, and they are under threat from a couple of Lions.. We just gotta hold the rifle steady.. In other words, the Team has to stand strong or they are gonna fall victim as well. T
We are now going into the month of December. As now we are ready to go to the playoff thing. As it really gets busy and really gets time for the playoffs and wild cards to get on. THE REAL TIME FOR FOOTBALL FRIENDS!
Let's just get it done in Detroit... 8-4 Play off- bound. Who knew 2012 would be this kind of year!! With this duo, what could go wrong??....To all the COLTS... we got YOUR back...
Recent comment by Bruce Arians may land him in some hot water with the NFL. “I’d love to have him on my team,” said Arians regarding Lions defensive tackle Ndamukon Suh. “I like the way he plays. He plays aggressive, hard, fast and physical.” The league’s anti-tampering policy prohibits “[a]ny public or private statement of interest, qualified or unqualified, in another club’s player . . . to a member of the news media. The league has declined comment on whether Arians’ comments violate the an
To say sitting at 7-4 that the Colts haven't stepped it up would be a down right lie! With practically a rookie class on offense these guys are flying pretty darn good. I expect great things from this bunch in the coming years.. Anyone foolish enough to say that Wayne should have exited with the other half of the team during the off season should be blitzed! Wayne is putting up huge numbers and should def go to the Pro-bowl; talk about talent!! Luck has been pretty good too, one more win an
Sorry slacking I'm a little late on posting Wow hats off to TY Hilton, your only going to get better. Reggie Wayne have always been a fan way to break some records. After the game I loved when you said "When your in for 12 years, you'd better do something." Keep it up! Freeman on defense way to get in there and sack Fitzpatrick and leaving an impact for people to remember your name. Mathis props on the other sack. Defense is getting to the point they are clicking well holding them to 4 of 1
So it finally happened. I finally got to see my beloved COLTS play in PERSON! My parents and I flew New York to Indy to watch my beloved COLTS take on my dad's beloved Bills. When I first learned we were going, I was beyond excited. I pretty much could not believe that we were actually going to a game! You have to understand-- I've been a fan of the COLTS for years now, and had never witnessed a game in person. In 2009 when Buffalo hosted Indy, I remember being sour that we didn't try to get tix
No record setting passing stats, no incredible runs, no game changing plays on defense (almost was) just 60 minutes of solid team football. Got to start off with that unit (special teams) since I had planned on not mentioning them again, the rest of the year, they made the game changing play.............Hilton's 75 yd punt return TD, the first for the Colts since 2007 (T.J.Rushing).... a very good game for the coverage units vs one of the leagues best returners and a big game for McAfee, who was
I did not as I want to avoid the rush and the crowds. Those that went, I commend you over it. But that is not my cup of tea. Sorry! But sure that Small Town Business Saturday and Cyber Monday will be up and fast. Just really don't want to get in the hustle and bustle of it all!

It's LeBron being LeBron. I have never been a fan of his for many reasons. He looks like a decent family man and takes great care of his kids + has never been in trouble with the law so I respect him for that - he is also a Great Basketball player, best today. Having said that his ego is outrageous, he left Cleveland in his prime because he couldn't win a Championship. Peyton Manning for example never thought about leaving Indy because he couldn't win for years against the Pats and Steelers in
Yes, that is a fair point some individuals just like to stir the pot & cause controversy & mayhem simply because their life has not turned out as well as they wish it had. Like it's somebody's else's fault that they don't make enough money or have a pretty girlfriend or any girlfriend for that matter.
Look, I'm not trying to minimize any fatality white, black, male, or female & I know that being a police officer is not an easy job. I get that. I just wanna get to an atmo
I am getting ready to get off work so I will have to respond to your Post tomorrow in more detail but all great points. Racism will probably never go away unfortunately as there are just people in this world that are ignorant and violent. I am not sure how anyone can solve some of the violence talking place. It just seems to get worse and worse with groups of people getting shot in night clubs, theaters, etc. for no reason. White cops aren't doing themselves any favors either by shooting unarmed
Thank you CBE for your response to my blog entry. I know how busy peoples daily lives are so I am grateful for feedback & different points of view on this subject matter.
Max Kellerman on ESPN 'First Take' has made the intriguing argument that in America anyway the Natl. Anthem standing up during it is a mandatory gesture of compliance as opposed to a voluntary one where dissent is frowned upon & even called out publicly if you refuse to stand up while the Star Spangled Bann
Here's my short take on Colin and what is going on: I have no problem with people protesting about something they believe in or serious matters like racism, that is everyone's right to do so. Where I have the problem is dissing the American flag. It doesn't accomplish anything and it really gets many people to dislike you and question why you are doing that. To me it's dissing the Military and the USA when you don't acknowledge the flag. All you are doing is drawing negative attention to yoursel
I hope you're hanging in there brother as well as can be expected given such heart wrenching circumstances. Miss you man. I'm here if you need me. God bless, my friend.
YSGC,
Thank you for being brave enough to share such personal information about the loss of your beloved father. That took a tremendous amount of courage on your part.
Naturally, that void in your life will never be filled of course, but this line made me smile:
"He insisted we bury him in his Colts gear" Awesome!
When are people going to realize that the offensive line talent in last year's draft, outside of La'ell Collins, just wasn't that good? Sure we could've used a couple of picks on some mediocre o-line talent, and people would be right here, with their 20/20 hindsight, saying that they were terrible picks, and that Grigson should be fired.
Instead, we took a WR. People didn't like the pick, as the Colts allegedly were already "stacked at WR." Well, fast forward to this year: Johnson is
