Colts Golf Outing - For the fans

Recommended Posts

I am just curious if any of you wanted to start a golf outing here in Indianapolis.

It would be a fun day meeting everyone that wanted to play. Once I get a number of those interested we can find a Saturday that works

Wish I were closer I would. But  2 hours down and two hours back and that would be after drinking with @IndyD4U  so I'd have to stay over  HAHA

You can do it for one day. 😂 I drove 2 and a half hours each way for 16 years as a season ticket holder.

Count me in....as long as you're playing on a course in the Rochester NY area.

Me too for the game on Sundays.    But had a driver to get me home        Hit me up in a couple hours after a few more beers.  Hell I may even sponsor this thing.  HA!!!!

I’d be down if its cheap, paid for, or on the Colts dime! I’ve never played Crooked Stick or the Brickyard yet! A bit too far outa my price range to play those courses! Im usually stuck playing at Smock, Southern Dunes, or the goose-poo filled Orchard on the south-side!:dunno:

Sounds like a good time. I would consider playing, if I can afford the track you guys pick, and they have a set of tees that are appropriate for my old man, short knocker, game.

That's not a bad price at all.  My local course (Cross Creek) is right in that range.  Most of the Fort Wayne courses I play often are around $60 for 18 w/cart.  Played Stonehenge in Warsaw last week and it was $72.

Wish I was closer, I’d totally be in for this. If a round ever coincides with any of my many trips to Indiana  I will join.

on a side note; this is the first year I traveled with my clubs to Indiana and I must say, there are a lot of fun and relaxing (compared to Southern California) places to play in central Indiana. I also got to try Top Golf with the wife and we had a blast. It is now on our must do list while in Indiana.

    • I'm just talking out loud and answering a question I had saw somewhere earlier. Didn't know it was from you or even in the thread. Just wanted to convey as to why I thought he was retained. Not stating why I wanted him retained, because I would of been fine if they decided to move on. Didn't see it happening with the sack record though and early big injuries and suspensions in the secondary last year     I like our players, not all of them, and that doesn't mean they will pan out, I don't think Gus puts them in the best position to succeed all the time. Now that doesn't mean I don't like the system, just how it is being ran I guess, in some instances.     Gus doesn't even need to change to much up, just be a little more unpredictable(blitzes/bump+run) and it would do wonders. Take some chances, might get beat a couple times, but more than likely, it will pay off more frequently. Needs to be less stubborn too, I know everyone remembers how long it took for him to quit playing Facyson over Rodgers.        Let's be honest though, I'm sure just about 100% of the posters that post here, have called for Gus to be fired at some point over the last 2 seasons, at least once.
    • Finally a well thought out response instead people in their feelings!   Yes, he could have tried to sign one of the potential difference makers, we wouldn’t know what offers, if any, were made. Which means he’s tried and they declined?    Or he could be speaking 100% truth and simply trusts his scouting department and the coaching staff to develop the young guys?   Time will tell!   Either way, team building is a delicate thing and publicly speaking faith into his roster builds confidence in his young players.
    • i'm not butt hurt, i just made a comment on how you speak to people on here. i haven't blocked anyone for the 8 years I've been on here and you won't be the first. but where did you coach? I've heard some middle school coaching jobs can be stressful dealing with all the kids. maybe drink some water bud.
    • Another butt hurt, triggered poster.   I owe no explanation to you or anyone else.
    • the negativity is due to the fact the personnel hasn't changed, there's no encouraging reports from Thomas, Cross, or Jones, and we were 28th-30th in every defensive passing metric...
