This was such a shocking loss. And I’m sure hard for many of us who follow scouting and drafting. Jackson was both tall and long. So he quickly became a favorite because this year there were so few of those types of corners. Plenty hoped the Colts might consider him in R’s 3-4. Of course it didn’t work out that way and Minnesota grabbed him in the 4th. So young. A life cut short. So sad. -

"Seems like he lacks instincts". Hahahaha! He came here at 20 years old with limited experience, not as a 5th year senior who played a lot. The failure rate of blue chip top 15 picks is legend. Players finally "getting it" in year 3-4 is a norm. Cross should be ready for a lot of snaps in the rotation. We will see if our coaching staff can coach up these young, very mediocre prospects. Our roster is well set in most areas now. Next off season will be about premium LB - Secondary. Not rocket science. But we are well set to make a move for trade opportunities for this season.
