I think the Chiefs win it, but I really want the 49’ers to win. I’m going with my heart this time and taking the 49’ers (4-6).

Changing my margines to (7-10). Have a feeling it's going to be a little lopsided whoever wins. Sticking with the 49'ers though.

49'ers (7-10).

Then don’t pick, not my loss

None of these guys copy, based on their history

I was just wanting to make sure no one changes and make sure I got the best odds.

Now I am only facing 1 person. @Solid84

2006, Moe, RtP all took Chiefs so can't win

Solid down 7 can win if they get 9ers right and I miss the margin, also wins if he hits the margin and I hit the margin.

You can't win because you're down 9 so need to get 9ers and margin, but I will get margin and take over that.

VFiC didn't pick

So 2 man race unless I'm mistaken.

Chiefs win, I win

49ers win and I hit margin I win

49ers win and I miss margin @Solid84wins

Did a lot of research on my picks. Well was always picking Chiefs, but didn't know how I would approach the rest.

@w87r you rocked this contest throughout!!! Amazing performance from you and the cherry on the top was getting the winner and margin right in the SB.

Congratulations on being the winner of this contest!!! You stand alone at the top.

Congrats @w87r. You are the Champion of the Playoff Contest Pick'em Games. I at least got my SB pick right to finish 8-5 over all with my Playoff Picks which isn't bad. I had KC winning. 61.5% winning percentage for me.

To sum everything up: @Moeand I won the 18 Week Pick'em Games by going 173-99 = a 63.6% winning percentage. @chad72came in 2nd by going 171-101 = a 62.9% winning percentage. 10 people picked all season.

@w87rwent a whopping 11-2 in this Playoff Contest and was calm, cool, and collective by picking moments before the SB kickoff lmao. He won with a winning percentage of 84.6%!

I will create a new weekly Pick'em thread sometime down the road for 2024 as this season is over for now, 2023 season is history.

Thanks Chad and 2006 for playoff and regular season thread/scoring/updates, etc. Looking forward to next season and using my high draft position to flip the standings!

Just don't take my Championship away for the Regular Season otherwise I may be like this mr t wrestling GIF by WWE (just kidding my friend) @Moealmost got me, we tied lmao . Regarding Mr T, he was in a commercial yesterday, he looks 100 years old. That guy will live forever.

Hey, we need a poll for opening game of the season. Chiefs schedule goes like this:

Home:

Baltimore Ravens

Cincinnati Bengals

Denver Broncos

Houston Texans

Las Vegas Raiders

Los Angeles Chargers

New Orleans Saints

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Away:

Atlanta Falcons

Buffalo Bills

Carolina Panthers

Cleveland Browns

Denver Broncos

Las Vegas Raiders

Los Angeles Chargers

Pittsburgh Steelers

San Francisco 49ers

I am thinking Bengals or Texans at Chiefs for the opener. What do you think?

I want to see Bengals at Chiefs. With a healthy Burrow, that would be a classic.

Bengals fans probably don't want that, given how the Bengals start off a season typically slower plus the fact that the Bengals, even under Joe Burrow, have a losing record on the road in primetime games at night. Pretty much all Bengals-Chiefs games last few years have been on CBS in the 4:25 pm ET slot where they seem to play their best ball, the Bengals, right around mid-season or after.

Chiefs fans probably would get fired up for a Bengals opening, no doubt, and unless CBS wants the rights to it again, NBC for opening night might say "how about us getting that matchup once?"

Not a lot of attractive home games for Chiefs. I'll go with Texans first & Ravens second.

Bengals is definitely more attractive given the history between the Chiefs and the Bengals. That is what I thought.

Think it will play out something like this. Positional groups #"s.   QB3 - 1 RB3 - 1 WR6 - 1 TE4 - 1 OL9/10 - 1 DL9/10 - 1 LB5/6 - 1 CB4 - 1 NB2 - 1 S3/4 - 2   That leaves 1 roster spot for and 2nd OL,DL,LB, only one positional group.
    • Mitchell is going to need watching after by grown-ups. He had a low level response to where he was drafted. And Ballard passing on him tells me AD has issues and they are known in the community.   I believe he will have great support from teammates and coaches so hopefully his friends and family help him do things right.  Watching his moves taking guys deep looks very mature and Exciting. Oh ya!
    • That wasn't exactly my point.  I think if he was targeting AM, he would have simply picked him at 46.    IMO, he traded down because CAR offered and he wasn't stuck on any one player on his board, not because it was a strategy to get AM plus another pick, which is what I think you are saying.  When he says that "nobody knows how this stuff plays out", I don't think he is saying "I knew how it was going to play out from pick 46 to 52, and I knew nobody was going to snipe us for AM, so I wanted to get another pick too."     I think he saw AM was clearly the highest BPA on his board when they were on the clock....maybe a few picks ahead like around the time pick 50 was on the clock.   I think if he was flat out targeting AM around the time, say, when pick 43 was on the clock, he would have just picked him at 46, and not gambled if he really wanted AM then.   That's how I interpret his quote.
    • I think it's more about the D-Coordinator and the individual player. Leonard was great because of speed and coverage skills. He fit into that defense. If you saw another of him, you'd hopefully want him. The league is tilted more and more toward passing. You have 3-4 linemen and everyone else has to cover to some extent. Sideline to sideline LB's who can cover are still valuable, but it's a less rare skill set than a cover corner or a pass rusher.
