That would be bad . That is another reason why I like Young though because he is a good passer in the pocket. He is pretty smart. I am ok with him running a little but just be smart about it. I guess my point about Young is, if he has to he can take off and run and make a huge play. IMO, Josh Allen reminds me of a clone of Andrew Luck. Both carried teams, could pass and run really good, won a lot too. Allen may not last if he keeps running so much.

Unfortunately what made Luck fun to watch is what ultimately lead to his injuries.  Allen will eventually have a serious injury if he doesn't start protecting himself.

Yeah Allen is running way too much, that could be a disaster eventually. Burrow is at least smart and mainly passes, problem with him is, his Line is getting him killed every year.

This is something I’ve been thinking about, as well. He certainly fits the bill of high character, captain of the team, leader, great work ethic, etc. Nick Saban has raved about the kid since the moment he stepped foot on campus.

To be fair what I know of Levis and stroud they also fit the profile. I haven’t researched enough of Richardson to know about his work ethic and leadership.

Young doesn't fit the profile that is why I have a feeling we may switch things up unless he is gone before #4.

 After doing some research it seems I don't have a leg to stand on as far as injuries being more prevalent in running QBs.

Young fits everything Ballard has said he looks for. But he can’t change his size so we will see how Ballard feels about that by draft time. Strouds accuracy is elite. A little better then young’s and Levis but both are still good. It’s going to be a fun month. We should start hearing more rumors after the combine. After these vet Qb start getting signed in FA we will have a better idea about draft.

Yeah, that is what I meant by profile = size by Young. It will be interesting to see who we take. It would be funny if we took an OT

One of Ballards close friends who used to be a scout I believe said Ballard won’t draft anyone QB under 6’2. What we don’t know if he thinks young is special enough where he throws measurements out the window. I think Ballard will be fascinated by strouds back story and everything he had to overcome. Levis is just a dawg with a ton of toughness Ballard will like. I really can’t think of any intangible that would push Ballard over to young’s side where he ignored measurable. One question young will be asked is what adversity have you had to overcome. I can’t think of any for young. I can the other two

Yeah, we'd literally have to do something crazy like sign both Mayfield and Minshew, keep Sam, and trade down 3 spots to get whatever O-Lineman we wanted and pick up an extra 2nd or so while getting him in order for me not to be upset about that. That'd be the way to get the forum to meltdown lol!

Maybe the fact that he’s always been undersized and has, to this point, been considered the best at his position in every level he’s played? That’s a pretty good one, in my opinion.

My personal opinion is Ballard will draft Levis. I don't have a single reason to support that opinion but just a hunch.

That is the thing, none of us can interview these QB's. To me that is a huge a part of it. That is why we took Peyton over Leaf.

I agree for the reason that I don't think we trade up to 1, and either A.) someone else might, or B.) The Bears may trade Fields and a combination of Young and Stroud go at 1 and 2. That would leave Levis for the Colts with Richardson, and Levis is the the type of QB that Ballard would like IMO.

Won’t surprise me. If he has good enough intel that stroud and young will one and two. That leaves is with Levis and won’t have to give up picks. I am ok with that as long as Levis is the guy colts want. I don’t want them to settle on one just so they don’t have to give up picks.

Daniel Jeremiah talked quarterbacks today on the radio. Some real concerns about Levis and the difference in the pocket with. Stroud has better feel. Starts at 138.

Yep. That'd be a solid top 4. Back them up with Dulin, Strachan, and Wilkerson and sign some UDFAs that have some athletic traits and we're set in that hypothetical scenario.

Higgins would open up the field, that would be huge. Pittman is good as well. Pierce has potential, Campbell is TY fast.

Yeah, that'd be best-case scenario IMO for a WR offseason. I would be fine signing someone like a Jacobi Myers as well. I think he was held back a little in NE with Mac Jones as QB and he's a solid no2 WR.
