You write “soft tissue injuries galore.”   I see one in your post.   Hilton.   Everyone else was simply cut.   Who else are the rest of the soft tissue injuries?

To be fair, strains, pulls, and other soft tissue problems are more likely to happen early in camp.... especially in a weird scenario such as this off-season

Just wait. Every year we get tons of those. For now it's one and to be fair it seems like it was away from camp.

These injuries happen. I'm just glad we don't have any serious injuries.

I wonder how many of those guys showed up to camp in less than top shape/fitness. I think the roster can afford to be a LOT more discerning now than in years past.

 

Also, I don't think cut down to 80 is required until Aug 16th (when padded practices begin) for teams who desire to do the 90-man 2-squad thing.

After those cuts, the Colts have 82 players on the roster.

 

2 on Reserve/Covid-19 (Henry, Porter). 

Players on the Reserve/Covid-19 list are not counted on the Active roster.

So that leaves 80 on the Active roster, as stitches mentioned:

76 on the regular Active roster

2 on Active/PUP (Alie-Cox, Turay)

2 on Active/NFI (Blackmon, Hilton)
