Well yeah, he got benched this year because he was terrible.  His time has passed, no thanks.

Him, and Xavier Rhodes have been getting torched lately, their best years are past them. The wily vet who has not slowed down is Chris Harris of the Broncos, still rock solid but he is a slot at this point in his career, only as a 1 or 2 year stop gap, and we have Kenny Moore. Draft baby, draft, let us get them there!!!

Age 30 seems to be about the magic number for most positions.  OL and DL, and then after that, probably CB.  Ought to draft one of each every year.  Unless if you don't have a QB, then gotta make that happen.  But you get the gist.

In terms of positions where guy's fall off the fastest, it seems like CB is way up there. I know Norman is 32 but still.

We saw it with Vontae Davis. Guys like Nnamdi Asomugha , Xavier Rhodes, and now Norman. Just seems like that's the position where guys go from absolutely elite to borderline unplayable in one year.

WR and CB, those guys have the most change of direction and stop start explosive movements over the course of a play than any other position.  It makes sense that they drop off as quickly as they do.  Most other positions (i.e. RBs or DL) can phase out because even when they're "the man" for a few years, they can always play situationally based on their strengths.

The Redskins real trophy CB that we should be looking to acquire is RCB Quinton Dunbar.  Dunbar is not scheduled to be a FA until next year but has already put the team on notice that he either wants traded or released.  Dunbar played a little better than Moore and would help improve our DB group.  Not sure what route the Redskins will take nor what it would cost us to spend a draft pick on Dunbar but think has to be around Round 2.  Obviously rather not give away valuable draft picks.  If the Colts don't pursue Dunbar can only imagine that the Eagles would target.
