JJAW ran a 4.49 40 at his pro day today

I’ve been in the camp that believed J.J. Arcega-Whiteside would run in the 4.7 + range at best for his 40 time. I’m frankly stunned at the 4.49 time he ran today. You have to assume that he will rise in the WR rankings given he is 6’2” and 225 lbs. He’s got to be solidly in the high 2nd round area now. I’d appreciate others’ thoughts on this.

On a podcast today they said he would fit in well with the colts and is underated.

Kinda shocked by that too. He doesn't look near that quick on tape. Maybe it's long strides.

I don’t know. Dude gives me Coby Fleener vibes in the sense that he’s not going to translate to the NFL well

He will be a solid player, better than Coby Fleener, IMO. He is tough in the red zone and has an Antonio Gates like boxout mentality there. He will be a TD monster, if he goes to the right team. Not great between the 20s, just good but once you get to the red zone, he will increase his worth there, IMO.

Hard to know when it comes to Pro Day stopwatches. Those numbers always seem surprising for guys that don't look fast. Now if that is coming from other teams that were there...that's different.
