I've always been a fan of Polian's minimal approach to the free agency market, and often felt it had a better chance of damaging team chemistry than helping much. Somehow, though, this year, I really hope the Colts make a couple significant splashes, most notably for a established, top notch, but young, OLine beast or two.

Polian kept searching for OLine talent through the draft, but it seemed like the team never found what it needed, or were never able to develop the talent the way they'd hoped. I'm not wanting to question Grigson's abilities, but I think with all the youth we'll have on the team the next few years, a little experience in front of "our future franchise" would be good.

Is that mainly because of the 38 million in deap cap space? Once Freeney is traded or restructured, that should enable us to get some talent on OL and WR in FA.

Jarret Johnson and Paul Oliver would be good. Aubrayo Franklin & Antonio Garay at NT. Early Doucet at WR and Geoff Schwartz at OG. We have 15.8M in Cap space until something is done with Freeney. If Freney is cut/traded that would free up another 14M.
