Makes sense but there isnt many re-signings that need to happen next year. Not sure about the rookie contracts

It's not about one year.  It's about creating a sustainable model so you can be competitive year after year.

Where's Mewhort??

Wasn't he classified as a FA?? Or does resigning a player put him in a different category?

He retired.  So he basically gave up any money we did give him (since he didn't complete the contract) so it was for all intents and purposes like he was never signed.

Also he was extended from within the team and this article seems to concentrate on players that we brought in from other teams.  I think we gave Vinny another year too but he isn't listed.

Sportrac reminds me of PFF. Most of their ratings (besides actual contract numbers) are pretty subjective.

At least we know PFF has a comprehensive grading system. I don't know what Spotrac uses; might be PFF for all we know...

Wow, I posted this Saturday early morning, And Colts.com JUST posts it Monday night. That begs to question if they found out on their own, or saw my post and went from there?..lol

Maybe Indy could use someone to do fact-checking/internet searches for them?...I'm currently unemployed and would love the job!...lol
