I would guess that everyone gets an extra year of eligibility, not just the seniors.
I could see a few players going pro even with the extra eligibility. Trevor Laurence for example probably would. So there would probably still be a 2021 draft. The only thing is that especially when it comes to the mid rounds it will be even more of a crap shoot than usual.
The other issue is that if the 2020 NFL season is canceled how would they work things out when it comes to the draft order. It's not like Cincy should deserve to pick Joe Burrow and then have the number one pick to either get Trevor Laurence and trade away the QB they don't like or simply trade down for a crap ton of picks.
That is why i mentioned pick 19. If a QB they LOVE is there maybe CB does win the bid for the pick.
Today i do not believe Love will be there, but still possible.
And bolderdash to worrying if a highly talented LT prospect can't play on the right side.
That is giving the player and the coaches no credit. They have RG Smith there!
You know Rivers was brought here to win Now, so using up significant draft capital for his replacement rather than a win now position player is always a questionable move. Just doesn't fit our situation or the CB MO. Of course KC did it with Mahomes and that worked out OK.
The tension and excitement is building.... haha!
It appears without saying directly so that Reich thinks Rivers is near Peytons level of football intelligence based on the comments he makes in this article.
