OLD FAN MAN

turning point

Recommended Posts

Mack's foot hit the end zone pylon. The refs missed the call and the quick snap was moronic on Pag's part. The guy just makes bone headed calls almost every game it seems.

I thought so too at the time tho i still don't know it would have avoid d the inevidable.  However, those are the types of things that don't normally happen to teams like Pitt and NE:

Before the game, i was thinking that this was Chuck's opportunity to truly coach.  it didnt happen.

but i dont think Belichek could have coached this team to a win today.

but i'm pretty confident it would be a touchdown or 2 closer.

Yeah theres no way to know if the outcome would have been different, but that was huge. You've got a team without its starting QB and all pro C.  11 new defensive starters from the opening day depth chart in 2016. A team that needs all the breaks it can get to try to stay alive until Luck comes back. And someone rushes the offense to the line instead of seeing if it was close enough to challenge??

Even without the red flag on that play, where in blazes was Turbin? Plain vanilla gameplan on offense and poor QB play, poor pass protection and in general a pure stinker. Cac in blue.

The turning point in the game was  when Tolzien was named the starter. The guy has no business on a NFL roster.
