Apparently, he looks good tonight. Despite all of 3's by Utah we are only down 10 at Half.

He still only shoots 31% from downtown It seems like everyone shots the ball better vs us. Crowder is 2/3 have I mentioned I can't stand that guy

I think Vic hurt his hand early in this game to the point where he can't really do his stuff. Hope he shakes it quick.

Yes he did on a drive to the basket  he looks at it after almost every shot. I hope it's just sore. Vic's taken some pretty good bumps the last few games

Lance 0 for 7 with 4 turnovers We don't have much scoring off the bench when Lance doesn't get going it's tough for our second unit with CoJo starting Sabonis needs Lance to play well to get going

We don't have a 3-shooter on the bench......like most teams do.

Buit we weren't going to beat much of anybody tonight with the shooting from the starters either..

Its okay...one game....Thank God for Atlanta

Don't mind the loss tonight if we don't lay an egg against the Hawks again on Friday. Just a bad night overall and the Jazz are hot right now.

However, after the Hawks we are going to have a lot of opponents just as tough as this one. Starting with Boston on Sunday.

The Cavs are at Denver tonight thought we'd have a good chance to move into 3rd tonight but not to be. If we were going to drop one of the last 4 games this was the one we needed the W's vs the Wiz and Bucks x2.

Clearly Collison isn't playing on this homestead....

..we need him just as soon as he can go

104-84 final....That's an old fashioned backyard whipping

Yes we do and it's shown more then once the last couple of weeks. CoJo isn't DC. When we send him back to the bench it'll take the ball out of Lance's hands all the time too. This team really needs a scorer off the bench I've said it before that unit is too dependent on Lance. He's just too up and down.

We get the Hawks next then about as tough a stretch as you'll see @Boston @Philly home for the Raptors and @Wiz. The games vs the Wiz and Philly are for the tiebreakers. It'd be nice to get those 2.

The Celtics game winner gets the tiebreaker too and the Raptors winner will have a leg up. The tiebreaker vs those 2 teams won't come into play. The Wiz and Philly tiebreaker could very well decide seeding

    • Yes, some people buy into the narrative without watching film He doesn't automatically default to running at the first sign of trouble. He seems to remain focused on passing and only runs when necessary to extend the play.
    • Maybe.   Maybe you’re right.      But as of right now Gardner Minshew is a starter, so is San Darnold in Minnesota.  Desmond Ridder started for most of the last two seasons in Atlanta.  And Geno Smith, a nobody for most of his career,  has been the starter for Seattle for the last 3-4 years.    My point is Fields needs an opportunity.  And if he doesn’t get it this year he’s a free agent next year and may get an opportunity with a new team.     Im always patient with QBs.  I always root for QBs to succeed.   Even if it’s later in a career the way it did with Randall Cunningham about 25-30 years ago.   (I think the only QB I never pulled for is Jay Cutler.)   So you might be right.  But we don’t know enough about AR right now to know.  Even Ballard said in Jan/Feb that AR still has to prove himself and no one should crown him just yet.   I’m in that camp.
    • All persons entering professional sports should make selecting an agent the highest order on their list. Playing the games is the sport side of the profession belonging to the profession is the business side of it.
    • He should have good protection this coming season.
    • Im not sure I follow your meaning….   But….   If AR leads the Colts to 4-13 that’s a bad, bad sign.   The rules have changed dramatically in the last 25 years to benefit the offense.   If AR struggles to 4-13 that says something is seriously wrong.   I think it’s extremely unlikely this will happen.   Plus he’s surrounded by a talented roster and a very good coaching staff.   My prediction is for 9-8.     But I think this is going to happen at least once, maybe more:   Colts down by 4 late in the game. and AR is driving the team.  They must get a TD.   And AR will throw an interception.  He won’t see the safety or a linebacker and that will end the game.   And our community will have a melt-down.     I’ve been banging this drum since AR was lost for the season.  He’s basically still a rookie and badly in need of experience.  He’s going to learn on the NFL level.  There are going to be growing pains.   There are no short cuts.   I love Anthony Richardson.  Great kid.  But I encourage patience.     Im sorry if I didn’t answer your question.
