I wasn't saying pick him up.  It was just news so I posted it.  You are right about him being a hard worker.  He is 30 and his numbers were down last year, only had 5 sacks.

I've Always been a fan of Barwin's, for the right price a few 'older' vets like Connor may not be horrible additions, to help 're-establish' the Colts locker-room, as that has seemingly been in regression the past couple of seasons...

He was also playing in a 4-3 defense when he thrives in a 3-4. Had 14.5 sacks last time he played in a 3-4. I'd take him as a stop-gap if the contract is reasonable..

I actually did read this information.  I guess we'll see where he goes.

I got raked over the coals on this forum for suggesting Connor Barwin to the Colts 4 or so years ago......now I will pass.

I actually think we will sign him.  We will move him back to his familiar OLB position where he was excellent before they tried to make him an end.  Great locker room guy too.  A solid value add as we bring in younger ER as well.

He's 30, so he's at "that age" now but if the price is right sure.  My bet is somebody will throw a briefcase of money at him though, and I would not go there if I were the Colts.
