He was a solid PK for the Colts. I was surprised when Vanderjagt replaced him, and I think Blanchard carried a bit of a chip on his shoulder for it.  RIP.

I did too and got to spend the day with him and Hunter the punter.  Both had been pro-bowlers (our only two I believe) (can't remember which summer it was exactly, either 95 or 96) and both couldn't have been nicer.  He was very solid as a kicked.  Really sad to hear such young guy pass.  

 

I still have a Colts hat they both signed displayed above the bar in our basement.
