Really like Conklin as well. He was off the board by us in this mock, but I rank him as my #1 OT in this draft actually.

Interesting. I have it:

1. Laremy Tunsil

2. Ronnie Stanley

3. Decker

4. Conklin

Mostly because I don't think Conklin can play LT in the NFL. I think he's the #1 RT in this class though.

I would be happy with those positions being draft, nailed our needs. Nice attempt, can't imagine how hard it would be doing a 3 rd mock for every team.

I like Decker in that spot.

only know Spence as a huge recruit that washed out from OSU (obviously has the physical tools)

Don't know Redmond, will look into him a bit

28. Vikings

R1 Darron Lee, LB, Ohio

R2 Josh Garnett, G, Stanford

R3 Max Redfield, S, Notre Dame

The Vikings will be selecting much earlier than 28th, perhaps in the early 20s. If you saw that game on Sunday afternoon, it is clear they desperately need some offensive linemen. They need to draft at least two O-linemen in the first 3 rounds. They could use a future center, a guard and a tackle. Any recommendations? I know you liked Clemmings a lot. Do you expect him to improve?

Thank you.

Yeah I think Clemmings really needed a redshirt year. He was obviously quite raw, the senior bowl showing he had kind of exposed that. Coming out I thought of him as a guy with a very high ceiling, who wasn't quite that good yet. I like his physicality and with good coaching he should improve from what he is now, even if I overrated his growth potential.

As far as positions go - right now I think the best LT prospect is Tunsil, the best RT is Conklin, the best C is Nick Martin, and the best G... Well I'm not really sure yet, I suppose I need to monitor that position more.

    • Hopefully home court can carry us through for a couple games.   We can grind a couple out, he's probably out longer than that.   Even if we happen to win the series, we might not see him till next season.
    • And was t-5th most pass interference calls with 6, despite the limited amount of targets. Everyone listed above has almost 2 times more targets.   Pierce drew a dpi on 1/11 routes   https://www.nflpenalties.com/pass-interference-targets.php?year=2023&view=all

    • Unfortunately….  Pierce will remain a punching bag for many here.   He may not be as good as we want at this point, but he’s better than his detractors believe.   He’s got value to the team.   For right now he’s a good WR4 and has room to improve.     Here are the average per catch for Pierce…   2022:   14.5 2023:   16.1 career:  15.2   That average per catch is really, really good.  Guys like that aren’t easy to find.  Plus he blocks.  And for a WR4,  that’s a nice place to slit him.  I think our WR room looks much improved.     1.   Pittman 2.  Adonai 3.  Downs 4.  Pierce 5.  Gould 6.  Dulin
