If I recall correctly, Link played well at RT and decent (but not as good as CJ) at LT. Castonzo will get into camp soon and we will be fine, I'm sure Manning had Castonzo working out with the team during the lockout

Link was fine at tackle. Not a stud, but not a problem either. It was at right guard that he has no business playing, and the front office acknowledged that after the fact. Seeing as how Manning won't be on the field at the beginning of training camp, this is even less of an issue.

You don't use McClendon at tackle for the same reason you don't use Link at guard. Some players can't switch from inside to outside like that, and Link and McClendon fall in that category. They are what they are.

Castonzo will be the starting LT by the end of the preseason. Just needs to sign his contract.
