They really dominate the Unitas family. pssh they only had one guy in the nfl

Each player makes his own way. A few years back, the Manning fans were bragging about the "generations" of some imaginary Manning "dynasty".

Kevin was huge even back in 7th grade when I knew him. Yeah I just name dropped.

Also my high school is named in the article ;)

Good for you.  You named a Colts player on the first name basis.  Most LOSERS on this board call them by their first name, as if they know them.  Wow, the Colts roster must be a batch of LOSERS from what they've posted.

The Matthews are great, but I still say the Mannings are the first family.  For one thing, they all play(ed) QB.  That doesn't make them better, but it does make them more visible, more talked about, and more liked.  It also gives them more control over a game.  They all also have lots of exposure to the community.  So lots of success combined with the focal position of any team, along with a lot of positive exposure and class, that gives you a lot of fans.  That's not to take anything away from the Matthews', but I still consider the Mannings to be the first family

You could look it up, but several Manning fans used that very image as their avatar.

I could but then again I didn't make any claim about bragging, I am not saying that it is not a possibility, but it is certainly not a widespread sentiment.  Also, using a particular avatar does not equate to bragging.

It seems to me that many of the posts on those links by purported Indy Colts fans are actually by Manning fans.  And they are obsessed by the "legacy" of a mediocre to bad NFL QB.  One with half again as many INTs as TDs.

Thanks to my younger brother, OldManR, for sending me those links.
