ESPN Insider- AFC chances for Super Bowl win

They always overlook Baltimore, the only team tough enough to break the NFC stranglehold the last five years .

Its the conference championship game played at night, silly :).

Unless you are a #6 seed winning on the road (2005 Steelers, 2010 Packers both in the afternoon championship games), lately the 2004 Patriots, 2006 Colts, 2007 Giants, 2008 Steelers, 2009 Saints, 2011 Giants, 2012 Ravens and 2013 Seahawks all won their championship games in the evening/night slot to get to the SB.

If a #6 wild card team does not win the NFCCG in the afternoon, then the AFC wins the SB this year because the AFCCG will be the evening/night game, lol :)

/co-incidental but kidding (the last team to break that trend were the last team to repeat, Patriots, and maybe the Seahawks break it this year like them)

It's ESPN, they are never right.

Right now the NFC is the dominant conference. Much better defenses, and far more balanced teams. Not to mention the coaching totally blows away what John Fox can do.

The AFC is quite weak. Outside of Denver and New England, who is the big dog in that division? You guys even depress me with you doubt your own team that put a beating on that overrated Broncos team. The Colts are better than that and you know it.

Questionable line and runners......fragile secondary///

Nobody is (or should be) sure about how good the Colts are

I agree! They do overlook Baltimore and the Colts! Maybe it's a Colts thing! ;)

I think they do ! They overlooked the Baltimore Colts, then the Indianapolis Colts, and the Baltimore Ravens. Can you imagine if Unitas, Manning and Luck, or Ray Lewis was in New York or Boston ? Our mid market cities would get all the press !

I would not have the Steelers in there. I would put the Ravens there instead. It will be a tough road for the AFC to win it all this year but really depends on which NFC team gets there. Match ups are always key.

I agree with you. I think the Ravens are better than the Steelers. They have not gotten young as fast as the Ravens have after we blew up our team. The cornerback situation though, as I've stated , could kill us. Watch to see if Webb and Smith are starting against Cincy. If they are not, we are in trouble.

    • I thought it looked like it was drawn on with a marker or something. You can see it briefly in the video too
    • Then after the game he acts like this…   Just throw the whole * dude away, he’s just garbage top to bottom. Hopefully the league drops the hammer on his dumb * and he’ll have plenty of time for podcasting. What a piece of %.
    • I respect this Knicks team, their fans and media not so much. They think they are better than us because they live in a big city. Snobby to be honest. I remember the 90's when they were mocking us 'being Country like' and calling us Hayseeds. They have all the big celebrities that go to their games, like Spike, Jon Stewart, Tracy Morgan, etc..  My early look at this series:   -Brunson is going to be a problem, he is a Superstar, Haliburton is as well but not as consistent as Brunson is at scoring the ball. Haliburton is a better passer though, that is almost a wash. Brunson may be a tad better, but the Pacers have McConnell as well for depth, see my next point.   -Pacers have more depth   -Pacers are a better 3-point shooting team   -Pacers are a better Offensive team   -Knicks are better defensive team   -Knicks have HCA   This series is going to end up 2 ways. Either Pacers in 6 or Knicks in 7. Pacers will win in 6, if we can get one of 1st 2 games. If we fall behind 2-0, I doubt we can win 4 out of 5 against them.    Rebounding will be a huge key to this series as well. The team that gets a lot of 2nd chance points, will be the team that will probably win. The Pacers have the better Big's with Turner and Pascal but the Knicks are a scrappy bunch.
    • He’s our dog man.  I gotta feeling he’s going to be a monster.
    • the thing is, our game changing TE may be on the roster in jelani woods.  He just has to stay healthy.  Remember that stretch of games where he scored a touchdown in every game he played in until he got hurt?     idk what injury bug bit him, but I hope it doesn’t bite him again this season.
