Drafted Players?

Have we even signed any of our drafted players from this year? I know there are mixed feelings towards FA's, ours and the ones available, but have we even signed any of them yet? I have seen a lot of other teams signing these players left and right and with the rookie pay thing, I think it has made this a lot easier.

Just curious if I have missed some signings?

I'd say we'll get them signed late in the weekend and early next week. The front office is worried about getting the Manning deal done first and foremost.

i am pretty sure I saw a rule where unsigned drafted players cannot attend training camp. I really hope we get all ours signed before sunday... Come on Jim, Peyton, and Tom. Get a deal done that will keep 18 in blue and white for the rest of his carreer!

I dunno if the new CBA allows them to miss practice if unsigned or not... I thought part of the new rookie wage scale was aimed at putting an end to rookie holdouts.. Not to be in camp because of a lack of contract is like a holdout, so I dunno...

We usually don't sign our drafted players until later on, no worries here

We got Carter signed today, I believe. The rest of 'em will come along this week and from what I've heard, there shouldn't be any hang-ups. Just a matter of slappin a lil ink down.
