Things are still not looking good for Rodgers. The issue is re-breaking it like what happened to Gronk I think with his forearm. If I was him, I may think about sitting out the rest of the season. GB is pretty much done. No chance at the WC and the division seems unlikely as well with Detroit two games ahead.

Detroit wont beat Philaphiphia this Sunday..

No where near disciplined enough.....

If GB wins out and goes 9-6-1......Detroit will end up 9-7 and on vacation

This is different then Rose as Rodgers has not been cleared to play. And he is also not going to risk getting re-injured:

Rodgers has a crack in his left collarbone and as several shoulder specialists told the Journal Sentinel recently, if that crack is not healed to the point that he has full range of motion in his shoulder and no pain when the fracture point is pressed upon, then another hit like he took from end Shea McClellin could break the collarbone in half.

"I’m going to be back when I’m ready, when there’s a very low risk of re-injuring that," Rodgers said on McCarren's show. "Obviously, if you have another blow like I had, displacement of the collarbone could be three to five months of rehab. So, that’s not what we want."

I think he should not come back this season.

This is a blessing in disguise for GB cause now they will finally realize their defense is god awful. Even had he played some of these games they would still be losing.

Don't risk another injury, wait it out till next season.

I agree he should sit the season with this tough of a time recovering. You do not jeopardize a player, let alone a once in a blue moon talent like Rodgers, by rushing them back.

The shot at a wild card entry complete with one and done is not worth it. With no defense that's exactly what would happen. (It does the vast majority of the time with teams that have a turd D in the playoffs.)

I don't think it's a blessing in disguise. We all know Green Bay's defense sucks, and so does their O-line. I agree they'd still lose some of these games, but they'd have a wild card all but assured if he'd played in all of them. It might be too late at this point. It's not worth a possible playoff birth when you risk losing a QB that won't need replacing for at least another 7+ seasons. Provided this injury doesn't really mess him up.

I say it's a blessing in disguise cause now you can't ignore how terrible that defense is and they have ignored it for 3 years straight. Winning that Super Bowl was the worst thing to happen for that defense cause now they probably won't ever get rid of Dom Capers and they even gave AJ Hawk a contract last year. That was a big no no.

I don't think Ted Thompson is the best GM in the league like they touted him after that Super Bowl win. This whole drafting rookies every year and not singing any free agents, on top of giving scrubs like Hawk big contracts has been a disaster for that defense.

The o-line was why Rodgers got hurt but people forget, he got sacked 50 times in 2009, they got him injured in 2010, it's a wonder he survived the o-line the last two years. They've had problems on the O-line at least dating back to when Favre was there.
