The Chiefs set the Guiness record for loudest stadium at 137.5.  Surpassing the Seahawks record of 136.6

My question is can the Colts do it when Manning comes to town.  That is an open air stadium.  Much of the sound can escape and echo out.  WIth the roof closed, the Colts should be able to do it Oct 20th if we put our vocal chords to it.

Kansas City and Seattle both have open stadiums, so having a closed venue doesn't necessarily make all the difference.  I think a lot of it is how the stadium is built and how loud the fans are

I really don't know if LOS can be that loud with the way it is designed. It is a huge building in square footage and height. It can get pretty loud but not near as loud as the RCA dome was because of it's size.

Chiefs and Seahawks are both open air...... no roof needed there, none needed here

Arrowhead, and later Century Link, have been known to be loudest fans when their team is deserving.  So I don't think so. However, I've been to the Hoosier/RCA dome before during games.  I know Indy fans can get loud when necessary. Loud enough to be effective, for sure.  Be loud Indy.  Let Peyton know what we gave other teams when  you could hear a pin drop when he stepped onto the turf.
