Denario Alexander

Recommended Posts

This kid has high upside. He would thrive in our WCO if he can keep that knee healthy.

I'm not sure that San Diego will let him get away, though. They gave him an "original round tender" which means that (because he was undrafted) that a team that's interested in signing him won't have to give up a pick, but the Chargers have the right to match any offers given to him. If they have any money left over from their O-Line overhaul, they will be sure to do just that.

Sidenote: I have wondered many times why San Diego wouldn't want to resign Vasquez. I've read about the Offensive line being their stated number one priority on several occasions, but for some reason they seem to be dragging their feet with regard to one of their own young, talented lineman.

I don't know... I think they have 11mil. in cap space at this point.. Leading me to believe that either Vasquez, Alexander, or Cason will hit the open market, but I don't think that two of them will. If they were smart, the Chargers would free up enough space to keep Cason and Vasquez... I hope they aren't, but we all know that Telesco knows his stuff...

Denario Alexander was not tendered and is a good young receiver, he is 6'5'' 217 and I saw him play in SD, he could be a great Big Weapon that alot of people want.

Not to rain on your parade or anything but it appears as though he was tendered

Not a top pick tender but it still gives SD the option to match offers.

since he went undrafted we wouldn't have to give a pick, but ya sd has the rights to match any offer
