I say absolutely....we only have so many draft picks so we can only fill so many needs in the draft.  The more needs we can fill in FA then the closer to BPA we can go in the draft.

Yes please. Vasquez and Goldson are two guys I desperately want to see us get. He's an enforcer in the defensive backfield.

I'd pick up Goldson and then move Bethea to SS.

 

But to be honest Goldson could probably play SS too.

He would be a big upgrade over what we have now. He's 28 so he has a few good years left and I think he's aggressive and would fit the scheme pretty well. Both he and Bethea are strong enough to play SS so it would be a good pick up in my opinion. There are several solid Safeties that are going to hit the market tho.
