  1. The Leftovers on HBO is the best show on television. No competition.

I love Walking Dead, but The Leftovers is a better quality show.

      Debatable. It's an opinionated thing.

I don't get HBO too expensive just the Starz movie channel. I do splurge on HBO in May for 1 month for the Rock-N-Roll Induction Ceremonies though.

  2. Thinking about buying a Trent Richardson jersey since it's only $20. I mean it'll get some laughs out of people hopefully.

20 bucks? id be surprised if they could give them away

What's a Jamarcus Russell jersey going for? It's cheaper than purple cough medicine right? LOL!

    3. Dustin

I wouldn't take one if someone gave me $20

  3. Remember when Blaine Gabbert was projected to be the next "it" at QB. Good times.

  4. Halloween Movie Marathon today: Rosemary's Baby, Halloween, Scream, Nightmare on Elm Street, and The Exorcist

They blew the game in the third and fourth quarter. But, I think this team is STRONG! The performances on their secondary players last night were great. If George and Hill are on it, along with the others that contributed last night, I expect good things!

    3. crazycolt1

      crazycolt1

They need to play better team defense from what I can see.

First two quarters weren't a problem. They were fabulous. Last half is where it fell apart. And, when ur best player isn't hitting, hard to pull out a win.

  6. Already purchased tickets to Star Wars: Force Awakens. CAN'T. WAIT.

Think it has to do with the generation watching them. if the original comes in your generation, it sets a bar from the point you watched it.

    3. Yoshinator

      Yoshinator

I'm 28, so all these originals were before my time. I just can't stand these terrible remakes of movies these days. Seems like shoddy, 2nd rate work and acting along with an overall worse movie.

    4. southwest1

      southwest1

I agree 100% with Jared's point. Remakes rarely ever work. I can't speak to the 2011 "The Thing" though since I haven't seen it MTC. The new "Vacation" movie looks really lame to me even just watching the trailer. I did laugh at this Christie Brinkley ad though.

  9. Want to apologize to Matt Hasselbeck for saying he looked done in his pre-season performance. Definitely not the case. He has played great the past two games.

    1. chrisfarley

I was down on him as well and didn't give us much of a chance at all, so I am also apologizing.

It's all good. No harm done. Thanks for holding down the fort in LUCK's absence Matthew. I knew you had it in you man. With age comes wisdom. I always say. :)

  10. I can't believe people are suggesting that Hasselbeck should be the starter for the rest of the season. I just can't.

At 2-2, with a chance to put the division on lockdown on Thursday night, anyone that wants to shut it down now is a complete *.

    4. akcolt

      akcolt

You are correct Shaun but it doesn't take much time on the board to figure that out. There are only 3 teams with a better record than us right now as horrible as we have started but hey let's just quit.

  11. Wasn't able to watch end of game/overtime. Not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing.

  15. Honest question: Would you rather have Caldwell or Pagano as your head coach?

      Lawrence Owen

Pagano. players react for him, and if Grigson kept his two cents out and stayed a Gm. and let the HC be a HC we may have some real progression.

    3. John Waylon

      John Waylon

      The real question should be:

Would you rather have Pep Hamilton or Caldwell? (It's coming, folks. You heard it here first.)

But it's a trick question. They are one in the same.

    4. Jim H.

      Jim H.

      Silly, silly question.

  16. If any of you are fans of the original Vacation movies, DO NOT see the new Vacation reboot/sequel. It makes Vegas Vacation look like Citizen Kane.

  17. Ant Man was a lot of fun. Highly recommend it.

I'm more than a little late to this party, but same to you too MTC. No hotdogs, hamburgers, beans, or cake left at the 4th of July picnic anymore. What a tragedy. Oh well, It's my own fault for being tardy.

  19. For the people who saw Jurassic World, did you guys like it or dislike it? For me, it was a whole lot of fun - even though some of the plot lines were silly.

Well, I only went because my daughers wanted to go. It was as usual children and adults being stupid and getting terrorized. Chris Pratt was worth going for and the whole story line with training velociraptors made it more interesting (the girls LOVED it)

  20. What's everyone's favorite Stephen King novel? Mine has to be The Stand followed by Pet Sematary and Salem's Lot. I'm currently reading Mr. Mercedes.

You expect people to read books for fun? Interesting concept. Books on disk is the way to go if you back me into an entertainment corner. Only teasing of course. That's why I enjoy watching movies so much. It's like reading without the paper cuts :) Besides, I have enough nonsense to read in my daily life anyway, but I digress.

Steven King is overrated IMO. But I do enjoy some of his sicker horror stuff. The Graveyard Shift being one of them.

  21. Does anyone on this forum watch Penny Dreadful? Someone recommended it to me and I love it. Just finished season one in a week.

    1. teganslaw

      teganslaw

I don't get Showtime, so haven't watched it. But Penny Dreadful sounds like something I'd find interesting.

    2. crazycolt1

      crazycolt1

I watch 3 other shows on Showtime but haven't watched Dreadful. I will get around to it on demand. Shameless, Ray Donovan and Homeland are the 3 I have been keeping up with.

  22. Mad Max: Fury Road was an awesome movie. I really recommend seeing it.

  23. Anyone see Avengers: Age of Ultron? Extremely disappointing movie, maybe because I had such high expectations. Plot was too confusing.

I will never see an Avengers film in a theater because I dislike the idea of Marvel Superhero characters from other franchises joining forces. It never works. I will see it eventually on rental or my Amazon Fire Stick but I don't waste my money on garbage.

  24. I am happy with the outcome of the Colts' 2015 draft class. Henry Anderson and Josh Robinson are my favorite additions to the draft. I'm a bit skeptical on the David Parry selection, but Pagano made a good comparison to NT Kelly Gregg. Dorsett will be a playmaker for us and I'm really excited about our offense moving forward. Also like some of the UDFA additions with LB's Zach Hodges and Junior Sylvestre. I would grade this draft class an A- based off value and need.
