Denver (+7) at Kansas City (10-30-17)

8:30 EST Sean McDonough and Jon Gruden on ESPN

Mid 40s and clear at the ArrowHead Stadium in Kansas City..over-under at 43

A must-win for Denver if they are going to contend for AFC West title so (Mr 7th round) Trevor Siemian (133 of 211, 1,471 yards 8TDs, 7 INTs) has to get the ball ouit and make plays to stay in the game.

WR Emmanual Sanders (25 catches, 266 yards) missed last week's loss at San Diego and may not play here either.

HB Jamaal Charles, KC's all-time leading rusher, returns to KC as a Bronco and he should see the ball a lot

Mr. Game Manager Alex Smith (165 of 228, 1,979 yards, 15 Tds, 0 INTs) has super speedy WR Tyreek Hill (36 catches, 515 yards) and top rusher Kareem Hunt (124 carries, 717 yards)  to rely on leading the NFL's No,.2 offense against Denver's top-ranked Defense.

Denver (3-3) has to win to stay within striking distance of KC (5-2) but the Chiefs have lost their last two and they need this game to stop the slide.

This has to be a low-scoring game for Denver to win so the under. even at 43, is good.

II wouldn't touch the plus-7 ..Denver's offense is weaker than dog chow with only scored 26 points in their last 3 games

OLB Shane Ray comes off injured reserve to play for Denver...big pass rush boost.

Too bad he can play the O-line

And yet here we were picking up their scraps last week....smh. I think KC runs all over Denver..just smash mouths them. Kareem Hunt 3 tds. Also they still have no answer for Kelce...Denvers LBs are TERRIBLE in coverage.

Since Manning has retired that team has been crap.

Yeah and they didn't need a QB or so I kept hearing.

Sure about that?

Elway seems to get a pass for not finding an heir apparent to Manning had he not gone there I think his GM skills would be severely scrutinized right now.

It would still be the QB wasteland it is now after Elway retired.

Maybe Elway thought he could get by with what he has?  The Bronco's defense won a super bowl even though Peyton had maybe his worse year in his career.

With that said it could be the fact of Peyton just being their QB made the teams play them different? Defenses were always scared of Peyton and what he could do at any time. No defenses are scared of any QB on the Bronco's roster at this time.

It was Peyton's presence that made the difference. Even though Statistically he stunk it up, teams still feared him. Teams don't fear anyone Denver has now at QB. Belichick in the Title Game kept going for it on 4th down because he even feared Peyton's ability to put up points.

Now our win over them is looking a little less impressive lol (and so does our Falcons win)....at least we have a tiebreaker on them should they get their act together!

The Bills are in the mix no doubt. They have a good defense and that in itself can go along way in todays NFL.

Time to go back to big Brock and pretend that he is just now succeeding Peyton like he was supposed to.

5 turnovers...Broncos were lucky to lose by just 10
