Watson may be the best QB in the division by the end of his rookie year. This is the worst-case scenario for us. Even if Luck returns and is still better, we are facing someone twice a year, in our division, that is on his skill level and also has a defense to back him up. We are underdogs in a division we once dominated now.

Pat Kirwan said when he met him in person (and knew what he did in college, like 800 yards against Saban in 2 games, etc...) that he reminded him of Warren Moon.  Lofty company from a very respectable/knowledgeable guy.

His average puts him on pace for 58 TD's this year, but that's bound to drop eventually. Every QB who gets that insane stat half way in the year, it eventually falls down somewhat, even if it's only slightly. 

 

I say he's definitely the real deal, and Cleveland fans must be drinking themselves into next year pondering the thought they could've had Goff, Prescott, Watson or Wentz by now.
