I know cuts are coming up, and the team will probably add a C prospect from the pool of cut players..... but would Nick Mangold be an option on a 1 year deal?  It as said he was looking for a situation where he could walk in and start..... we seemingly could offer that for the short term, and likely for the season......  He's 33, what would it cost to bring him on board?

Either way, Zuttah is a possibility.. look for the Colts to sign someone either tomorrow or as early as Sunday-Monday.

I don't see why Mangold would want to much money.  You would be telling him it was for one year and that it could only be for half of a year.  Plus he is not signing or in the mention with anyone else.  I would say a 1yr/5 mil is obtainable.

I certainly hope they have some sort of plan for the C position.

 

Otherwise we might as well just throw Tolzien out there and tank the season because Luck will be killed behind a rookie UDFA center starting for over half the season.
