we scored 34 points though.

True. I meant that throwing for that many yards usually means that the other team is scoring a lot. (Which was your original point. My bad.)

Its a good thing in general when a owner is patient .   Now being way to patient is a huge issue , keeping grigson so long ended lucks career .   Ballard should be a head scout not a GM

Agreed on all points.   I could never figure out why Grigson, a former O-lineman himself, didn't focus on protecting Andrew.   I think life after Peyton showed us how much he carried the team in a lot of games.

I dont know why people here seem so scared of replacing ballard .   were under .500 with him its not like he is so great .

Who was the driving force for hiring and keeping Bradley? If it was Mr. Irsay, he should retire. Anyone else should be canned.

I'm actually wondering what life will look like for the Colts when Jim retires and leaves it to his daughters.  Jim doesn't seem to care much about football, just antique guitars, collecting obscure items (like the On the Road manuscript).

He seemed pretty prudent at first, in my opinion.  Then Luck left.  I wasn't sure who was actually making the decisions at QB.  I thought we would ride with Jacoby and then try to draft one but we ended up starting a QB carousel.  I didn't know if that was Irsay are Ballard.  If it was Irsay, he really isn't any different from Jerry Jones on that point.

ballard is way to arrogant   he believed he had a super bowl roster after luck left and could just plug in old QBs .

    • Guilty also. I said in one of the training camp threads that he was going to be the steal of the draft.    I don't know what's going through his head, but Reggie needs to figure something out to help get AD over this.
    • Lol I was getting ready to post this. "Hands in. lose week 1, lose in Jacksonville. Finish 9-8 and get the 15-17 draft pick and repeat on three!"   Oh I forgot dump Flacco and get like Andy Dalton for next season!
    • This is a tough one to take, it's like a kick to the balls. I am just frustrated.
    • It really isn't fair to throw away the season for the other 60 players just so they can evaluate an undeveloped player.  If AR has any brains and an ability to absorb information and learn his job, it should be holding the clip board. Do you realize what has taken place with the Ballard regime? Instead of drafting a viable Quarterback candidate, He has turned over the keys to a billion dollar machine to an operator who has no business being at the controls. Guess what? It's not AR's fault. It's Ballard's Folly. What is he going to do with the over cap money he is saving? He is going to award extensions to players that never should have been here to begin with. Irsay Should start a new staff search after week 17. Let's face it. This Ballard situation will take several years to remedy if not decades.
    • Yeah I understand.  But I am sure if enough money would have been offered he would have stayed.     Instead we paid Gay and 5 DLineman who do nothing.
