Perfect Season?

During last season - the 1972 Miami Dolphins celebrated the 50th Anniversary of their 17-0 PERFECT SEASON.

The New England Patriots came close several years ago - but - no other team has even sniffed the "rare air" of perfection.

Will there ever be another NFL team to achieve a perfect season?

Why do you gotta bring this up?

This just reminds us that we woulda/coulda/shoulda went undefeated if Caldwell didn’t rest his players after going 13-0!:hairout:

Nightmares!!!

It wasn't Caldwell that sat the starters, it was Polian.

I stand corrected.

I'd forgotten about the 1985 Bears nearly getting there.

Amazingly - their "path to perfection" was blocked by the Miami Dolphins.

Dolphins had a pretty good 12-4 team in 1985.

There is another NFL Florida team with a perfect season. The 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers went 0-14 and they accomplished that wearing pink uniforms.

Yes they were a bad team. Coach McCay  was asked after a dismal loss what he thought of the teams execution and he replied "I am for it". :funny:
