I don't believe this was mentioned on the forum, so I'm putting this out there for everyone to see. It's probably going to happen every year as long as we draft well, but we really need to hope that they stay with us. Knowing that we don't sign high-profile FAs, our salary cap is being used up to extend our own, we probably whiffed on Wentz, and we don't have a first-round pick, all show that we need to rely on our strong drafting ability to remain competitive. Our team is strong, but there's a long way to go, and we are still weak at the most important positions. If we can't sign solid FAs at those positions, then we have to draft them. Losing Dodds and/or Morocco Brown could be the final nail in the coffin that takes away our best strength to compete. Hopefully, they stay, or we could see a decline in our drafts starting this year.

I am not as familiar with the structure of the front office…but does anyone know if there is an up and comer in the Colts front office who can adequately replace either of these two?

Just saying that if there is… the blow may not be as big

I had a post talking about it a few days ago, but it's been sent into oblivion with the forum imploding.
