Even then, the Colts weren't in the running for Mathis. They were originally slated as one of 5 or so teams that would be interested in him, but it was narrowed down to 2.

I was never familiar with him to begin with, we need a corner and a Defensive tackle in the draft along with wide receiver, I still say they will release freeny but it wont be till right up around draft time now and that will help our cap but will also leave us to fill another need but still worth it...opinions?
