I like how Ballard has recently mentioned Brian Urlacher more often. I understand that I could be reaching by thinking this.... But I see Edmunds as an Urlacher type of player. I think it is possible that Ballard does too. 

 

I am sure he is in our plans if we trade back. It would just make too much sense.

Edmunds is absolutely in play if we move down and I wouldn't be mad at all. He's tremendously athletic and having worked with his uncle, I can only imagine he's got a great head on his shoulders.

People I think underestimate this a little. Everyone was real high on Reddick last year (I was as well). Look at Edmunds, he has some similar athleticism and he is prototypical size. 4.55 for a guy that weighed in at 253 that's dang impressive. There are so many good options in the draft this year, we have a great opportunity to get a guy that can really change games.

He could end up at MIKE or on the EDGE.
