RockThatBlue
Still too early to know for sure, but sounds like Kizer is really impressing and has a good shot to start week 1. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/08/24/hue-jackson-already-sees-a-difference-in-deshone-kizer/amp/
chad72
So far so good, it seems like. Let us hope he can help them at least be mediocre, which would be an improvement from bottom dwellers.
21isSuperman
The only QB I liked in this year's class was Watson. But with how much the Browns and their fans have suffered over the years, I'd be happy to be proven wrong with Kizer
jvan1973
They have found many in the last 30 years. None that were good however. Kizer is a smart kid that has a winning gene. We will see

RollerColt
I would love to see someone else besides the Steelers win that division and make the playoffs. Hopefully Kizer can finally end the suffering.
NewColtsFan
Maybe they have found their guy. But plenty of teams have thought they found someone in the pre-season and they play them too soon in their rookie year only to find out the game is completely different in the regular season. Gone are the vanilla defenses. Suddenly you're only playing the best of the best in games that count in ways that pre-season games never do. It's an entirely different world. And many a rookie have wilted under that spot light.... Let's hope it doesn't happen to Kizer.... well, except maybe in week 3 when the Colts host the Browns at Lucas OIl.... DaColts85
I hope he is there guy. They have suffered for long enough and like to see some new teams get better each year. Just hearing the Browns in the Playoff's seems odd but that would be great for them. Still a ways to go though.
Synthetic
Kizer looked great in the first preseason game against the Saints 3rd stringers....but it's still preseason. Let's see how week 1 turns out and then we may know if he's something or not.
mikey287
I'm not a big draft nut, but I watch a good deal of college football...surprised that Watson was comsidered a high-end pro prospect, much less comsidered a better prospect than Kizer. You can see it in their setup mechanics and arm talent how much better Kizer is...

mikey287
See, I read nothing about drafts, I just watch games...and I was pretty stunned to know that the football world thought these two were on the same level, much less Watson being ahead...I'm a nobody, so I don't know, but Watson does very little for me...I think it's Kizer by a measurable amount in terms of their prospect status... oldunclemark
Kizer looks shaky but he isn't as bad as I thought he'd be.. ...I think his team is excited by him..they seem to back him
