Of course this is all pipe speculation, but I would entertain it if it was available.

How exactly is his defense going to work with

a. no pass rushers

b. no stout dl

c. no cover corners

d. no lbs/safeties that play sideline to sideline and are interchangable

 

basically I feel bad for our defense....the talent on that side of the ball is horrible. it doesn't matter what defense we play you aren't making it better. Plus Wades defenses are usually good for a year or two...and then players start breaking down because that defense is so so aggressive. If you have the studs...his defense is scary to play against...but few have the studs...and definitely not us.

If Wade wants to come as a DC, I would sign him in a heartbeat. I was always high on Wade Phillips as a DC, I think he's the best DC right now in the NFL. I just love his style of defense. He will be the final piece of the puzzle for us to get past the AFC Championship for sure!
