Wentz set a record yesterday by having the fewest yards of any QB with over 30 completions since 1950. His 32 completions on 43 attempts (74.4%) resulted in only 202 yards (4.7 YPA) and 1 TD. Well played OC Doug Pederson, well played.

I do wish Luck had his accuracy on those slants and intermediate routes, he seems to do a good job leading his wide outs. Besides, Chud does not call enough of the slants, still.

I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing.  The coaches are putting him in a position to succeed by giving him easy reads and progressions.  It's almost exactly what the Cowboys are doing with Dak.

Well, everyone going into the draft said he'd need a year holding a clip board, so it's really no surprise they've kept the training wheels on him.  For as many QBs as the Browns have gone through, feeding tehir QBs to the wolves and destroying their confidence to play at the NFL level, I would think the Eagles are going about this the right way.  If it's 2020 and he's still achieving a sub-7.0 YPA, then yeah, king dink and dunk.  But even Brady was sub 7.0 YPA for the first 3 years as a starter.

But if he completed 75% of his passes for nearly 5 yards per attempt and they have 4 downs that's basically a first down on every 4 downs so they should never punt...haha
