Anyway besides Coughlin who do you like?

For starters, zero current college coaches. I want leaders of men not boys.

I wanna steer clear of Patriots coordinators too. Nobody seems to flourish outside of NE on their own.

Guys to bring in for a chat: Kyle Shanahan,  Darrell Bevell, Paul Alexander from the Bengals....Michael Lombardi as a potential GM candidate just off the top of my head...Let me ponder this a little while.

Reach out to Charlie Casserly for advice too who was a successful GM in the past, helped the Jets land Todd Bowles, & took DE Mario Williams over Reggie Bush in the 2006 NFL draft. He took heat for that pick initially, but was ultimately proven right yrs later.

and I mean WHATEVER it takes.

I don't care what you have to pay him, or what his demands are, just do it.

Also throw in one of Irsay's homes in Indy, just give him whatever he wants.

He is not a NFL coach IMO. Jim does not work well when he is not 100% in control and he wouldn't have that in Indy.

short of a gun to his head, it's not happening.  In all seriousness, the only remote chance would be for him to win the National Championship this year and decide himself he's ready to go back and get his Super Bowl, but rarely would a coach leave his kids when he's just getting ready to be coaching entirely all his own recruits.  I think if he won 3 straight and got through his first batch of kids, maybe.  But I still doubt it.

The best thing that can happen to this organization is if Irsay sells the team.

Well yes and no.  They COULD get a better owner, yes, but that owner could then move the team (with the NFL's blessing).  And I wouldn't like that very much mister!
