But, I will say deflategate hit me this week when I had two tires deflate due to my car being left out in the freezing cold so long.

You understand that the footballs weren't out there that long right?   Also,   I'm guessing you didn't have your tires at the right PSU to begin with.    I have lived in Indiana my whole life.    Never had an issue with tire pressure in the winter.     You should get a gauge for your tires.

Yea, well this still doesn't answer the question why the guy text messaged, calling himself "the Deflator." And no, don't tell me he was trying to lose weight.

I watched the video and he was basically saying what I mentioned and maintained once I read the Wells Report. 

 

Bottom line if one uses the Colts balls as an innocent control (i.e. balls on the night in question that were not tampered with by human hands), understand that they started higher in psig (13.0 v 12.5), and that they were measured later during the half and regained about 0.7 psig of pressure you will find that pats balls are as innocent as the colts balls. 

 

Once you take into account, as he mentioned, that balls can expand by a certain percentage due to moisture that adds another issue which will account for lower pressure (i.e. as volume goes up pressure reduces proportionally).  

 

Something things that Exponent, Wells and the NFL conveniently did not address.
