Walk On

Walk On (1/6)

  1. Seeing the contrast between the DeflateGate reports and a negative Peyton Manning story. Nobody was saying "let's wait for the facts" on DeflateGate!
  2. Let's be real, courtesy of the Broncos defense*
  3. I think its a fair statement. While the overall scores are close, the Patriots had 21 points through touchdowns and extra points, and 6 points from field goals. The Broncos had 15 points from field goals and 8 points from a TD and 2 point conversion. Others may disagree, but in my opinion the offensive performance from the Pats was ten fold better than the Broncos. The Patriots offense went out and dominated. The Broncos offense did what it needed to do to win the game. If if the Broncos are only able to muster up ONE TOUCHDOWN all game against this Patriots team, they're gonna have a bad time.
  4. Huge win for Denver. These next few weeks will determine home field advantage, and Denvers win kept them in the race. Only two things have to happen for Denver to lock it up: another New England loss, and Denver must beat Cincinnati. I really don't see New England losing two more games, nor do I see the Bengals losing to anyone else except possibly the Broncos. It's gonna be a tight race for homefield advantage. I feel bad for whatever wild card team gets New England, Cinci, or Denver!
  5. I can't remember the details, but I'm pretty sure the record for highest-attended NFL game was in Mexico
  6. I'm glad we addressed real problems in the offseason, like a player maybe involved in deflating 1 PSI out of a football. Never mind stuff like the fact that the NFL employs criminals, woman beaters, or that 99% of players who play in the NFL walk away with brain damage. We gotta talk about the important stuff like Tom Brady maybe taking a PSI out of a football!
  7. They want a bigger market. Remember FOOTBALL is a sport. The NFL is a business.
  8. Maybe you won't miss him personally, but whether you realize it or not you will realize what he (and Peyton) bring to the game of football.
  9. Let's not have a discussion about who's better or whatever, but instead take some time to appreciate that we've seen two of the best QBs go at it time and time again. I don't think any two QBs that are currently in the league will be able to fill the void Peyton and Brady will leave when they retire. Every match up they had was legendary. Peyton has been on 10 win teams every year except 2, Brady every year except one. The accomplishments these two guys have are legendary. We won't see two quarterbacks like this for a long time, IMO. Instead of bashing them, blah blah Peyton is so old or blah blah Brady's a cheat, we should just sit back and appreciate the fact that for the past 15 years, we've seen an AFC dominated by the two best quarterbacks to ever play the game.
  10. A referee blew his whistle for no reason. Looked like Amendola was about to take it to the house too.
  11. As of right now the race is Tom Brady and then everybody else. Carolina is 10-0 but a large part of that is the defense. Carolina is 22nd in Yards Per Drive with just under 30 Yards Per Drive. Plus Brady has Cam beat in just about every catergory. I would say Palmer is more worthy of being in the discussion with Brady than Cam does.
  12. Well to be fair, it's true. Look at the other divisions. AFC Esst first seed is 9-0. AFC West and North leaders are 8-2. Colts a .500. Honestly, put the Colts in another division and we might not even be a wild card team this year.
  13. Reports are mixed right now. Some say he could be done for the season while others say he could be back for the end of the season / post season https://mobile.twitter.com/RapSheet?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor Raporport says could be back for the end of the season, while his source says season is in jeopardy
