So now that Scobee is out of our division, he decides to do bad?

I still remember all the games Jacksonville pulled out with Josh "Scooby Doo" Scobee against us. This guy would bang it better from 50yds out more than any kicker I've seen. In a single game, he had three 50+ yard field goals, tying an the NFL record. He had nerves of steel; game on the line? No problem! At one point, I'd argue Jacksonville was so bad, Scobee was the team's best player.

Anyone remember when he kicked a 59-yd FG to beat us? That made me sick.

So why is he suddenly playing poorly? His age isn't a factor -- he's 33! For a kicker, that's insanely young, when you compare Adam Vinatieri is 42. The only conclusion I can come to is this: He misses beating the Colts, and now that he's out of our division, life has lost its sparkle. He'd be perfect for the Chargers -- knock the Colts out of the wild-card round, then give up on the season.

Love the sarcasm. Yeah if he was playing us he would probably nail a 60 Yarder to beat us with no time left. Bironas was the same way (RIP).

He has had four misses this year. Two were at Foxboro and the other two at Heinz. Probably two of the toughest stadiums to kick in. But part of me thinks if the Jags were willing to part with him, he had probably lost his stuff somewhat and the Steelers were desperate already down two kickers.
