I had mixed thoughts at first but duke johnson is a beast.

After watching film on the top backs in the draft and watching duke johnson I can say that there isn't really much separation from the backs in this class. Duke johnson has excellent vision hits the hole hard and he can return kicks. he seems like the type of guy grigson would pick. He shoots forward running over defenders and reminds me a little of blount which explains why the pats brought him in for a visit as well.

I like Duke Johnson. Super fast. Super agile.

He's a 2nd round pick though and I don't think Grigson takes a RB in the 2nd.

Lagarette Blount is literally the opposite of Duke Johnson.

 

I do like Johnson though, quick, shifty, with good vision. He'd be perfect in a rotation with Gore and Herron. You just couldn't of picked a worse comparison.

I think Duke can be had in the early 3rd round. We could trade down from the 1st or 2nd to get him with the added pick.
