I like a couple of the picks but there's no reason to go WR in the 2nd. We're set at wide out this year anyway, and possibly for quite some time if Carter is what I think he can be. I love the Byron Jones pick. I've been hoping we could get him in the 2nd but its looking like he's a late 1st rounder at the moment. I like him as a safety btw. I like Havenstein too, but I think he'll end up moving inside to guard. I don't think he can handle playing RT in the NFL, but yeah, I do think he can be a pretty good guard. I like Cobb too.

I think one of these players will fall to 29.  I would pick them in this order:

Alvin “Bud” Dupree

Landon Collins

Eddie Goldman

Jalen Collins

Arik Armstead

Andrus Peat

T.J. Clemmings

Eric Kendricks

If we don't pick Kendricks, in Round 2 there should be a good linebacker/edge rusher available:

Danielle Hunter

Paul Dawson

Stephone Anthony

Denzel Perryman

Nate Orchard

Round 3 is a good spot for safety/cornerbacks who can play safety:

Alex Carter

Josh Shaw

Jaquiski Tartt

Derron Smith

So Defense all the way.  I like the choice of Havenstein. We need a Right Tackle of the future.  Maybe Ty Sambrailo will be there in the 4th.  Or best available RB.

Honestly, If our first three picks were

1) T.J. Clemmings

2) Paul Dawson

3) Josh Shaw

I'd die. In my mind, those three picks alone would make this draft one of the best in recent Colts history. I'm a huge believer in Shaw in the third. I think he'll be a great cornerback in the NFL, and Paul Dawson in the second would be a steal. He's not pretty, he's not flashy, he just plays...every...single...week
