    Not Telling
  1. Chuck Pagano went to T.J.Green's pro day. This is a Chuck pick. Green has played safety for 2 years, mainly in a center fielder role. No one knows, not PFF not Pete Prisco. A 4.34 40 grabs attention; this guy is lightning fast.
  2. You don't trade down if someone you want is on the board.
  3. The trade down says a lot. Doesn't want Whitehair, so Grigson thinks the OL line has enough with Kelly. Didn't want Jarran Reed or Billings, so he is satisfied with Parry. Didn't want Alexander; maybe a safety? OLB?
  4. A'Shawn Robinson, Jarran Reed, Andrew Billings, Cody Whitehair, Jason Spriggs still there.
  5. I agree with the any of them. My favorite is D because I think Vernon Butler will be a star and nothing helps the 3-4 defense like a great nose tackle. BTW, I think it is very possible a good NT will be available in some round because of the depth at the position this year. Austin Johnson in the 3rd round would be a steal.
  6. I think Karl Joseph's position in his rookie year will be injured reserve. He had a season-ending knee injury in October.
  7. IMHO Ryan Kelly will be available on our 2nd pick. If not, Nick Martin. And, depending on how you evaluate Jack Allen, we may be able to get a center in the 3rd round. On the other hand, none of the top defensive players is likely to be there on Pick 48. BPA when we select on Pick 18? 1. Ezekiel Elliott 2. Shaq Lawson 3. Mackenzie Alexander 4. Darron Lee 5. Reggie Ragland 6. Leonard Floyd. In some mock drafts, A'Shawn Robinson falls to us. I took Noah Spence off our board because I don't think Grigson would want him.
  8. LoudnProud's point about back-loading Luck's contract also applies to free agent signings. We have enough space next year to sign someone this year. Casey Hayward would be my choice.
  9. Robert Ayers Casey Hayward Mitchell Schwartz Manny Ramirez
  10. Dustin is just being grumpy. It's a new thing to praise the Colts' O-line. Denzelle had 4 penalties: a hold when he was beaten (for the one time in the game), a horse collar tackle (he has to work on his tackling), and two false starts. He played like, well, a rookie. But he dominated his opponent most of the game. That's Good.
  11. This projection was intended to show an alternative way for the Colts to win the division, IF we lose to the Texans December 20. I hope and expect that we will beat them, with Luck, Costanzo, Dorsett, etc back. But who knows?
  12. On a cold rainy day, some idle speculation about possible division tie breakers in AFC South. Projection: Colts beat Bucs; Texans beat Saints; Texans lose to Bills and Patriots; Steelers beat Colts; Texans beat Colts; Colts beat Miami; Colts and Texans beat Jaguars and Titans; Texans 9-7; Colts 9-7 Tie breakers Head to Head: tie; Division Record tie; Common Games: tie; Conference Record: tie 5th Tie Breaker Strength of Victory: Colts: (Broncos 8-2, Falcons 6-4, Bucs 5-5, Miami 4-6); Texans: (Bengals 8-2, Jets 5-5, Saints 4-6) Colts win Strength of Victory tiebreaker. So . . . we really
