Wade Phillips for DC in Washington?

I'd love to have him here in Indy as DC.  

 

This might not be a good fit as I don't believe they have the players for it.  Weren't they running a 4-3, while Phillips' standard defense is a 3-4?

Yes, they are already in a 3-4.  Might be a good fit for Washington, then.

I'd also like Phillips in NE.  I don't think Belichick would want that since Belichick wants his inside "students" to run the offense and defense that he can have control over and final say.  Philips would want to run his defense and have full control.

 

I really believe Belichick is the real defensive coordinator behind the scenes and not Patricia.

Excellent hire..   Phillips is not a HC...  but he is stellar as a DC.
