It's as good as done

He holds his guitar

like a tommy gun

He starts to growl

From way down his throat

He bends a string

And "that's all she wrote"

Elvis lyrics could be funner than watching the Saints fumble & bumble all game long.

They must have had guys sit in a room and make up 10 songs for each Elvis film...

...Just make the words rhyme and Elvis will do the rest

Elvis had some great movie songs like Jailhouse Rock & King of the whole wide world & Bossa Nova Baby & Edge of reality. The music was was always good even if the movies were kind of lacking.

I'm glad they bought back BossaNova for that commercial

I'm a huge Elvis fan & enjoy hearing his work but the song has been played out thinks to that commercial & the ultimate party album they released. Not a fan of remixes except for the little less conversation mix that wasn't bad. The album has some goo tracks though.

I actually have that...didn't like the rendition of Bossa Nova in that..

I didn't know until this year that the movie King Creole was written (adapted from a book) for James Dean

..When he died..Elvis got the role//and they made the lead a singer instead of a boxer

Yeah. Unfortunately Elvis wanted to have a career in movie that didn't involve singing but people looked at him as a money maker including Colonel Parker. The one chance he had to have a real roll was with Streisand in a A Star is Born which Parker shot down because of lack of top billing.

I think his little girlfriend in King Creole and was also his girlfriend in Roustabout..

...I thought she was perfect opposite him..but I guess she quit acting soon after that to become a nun. Odd but true

I think she's still alive

    • I don't have any extra insight, but my opinion is that they haven't figured out exactly what kind of shoes work best on this new type of surface. Should they wear turf shoes; should they wear spikes; etc etc.
    • If you want to relate the fairly decent pass coverage to poor run defense, did they rush more and didn't focus on the running game because they knew the secondary couldn't hold up? Was the secondary told to focus more on their coverage (safeties especially) and don't attack the run as much?
    • I have noticed that anytime a reporter asks one of our coaches or players about it They all act like it’s fine. Seems to me there were told to say it’s a non-issue when obviously it is.
    • To an extent. The difference in my opinion being that you make the offense make the plays and drive the field, and Houston seemingly made all the big moment plays. I think Houston would say they’d rather have seen us drive the field than give those plays up…   I just don’t see a great deal of the offense’s in this league making those plays like they did. My issue with the harsh criticism of our defense is that it’s in a way discrediting Houston’s offense, and that’s a problem for me, because they played exceptionally well and are poised for a very big year.
