Offseason blues...

I am really starting to have some football withdrawals. So I went back and watched several of our games that I had recorded from last season including both of our playoff games. One thing that just completely stuck out was Griff Whalen. This guy works his tail off, catches almost everything thrown to him and is very shifty. I will be shocked and disappointed if he is does not make this team and in the regular rotation next year.

I am surprised that this board seems so "eh" about him. He was extremely productive, especially in 3rd down. I would say, outside of Hilton, he made the biggest impact - especially late in the season.

He surprised me that's for sure and I do agree that he works his tail off. I just think back to when he was returning punts, seemed extremely shifty.

Also after catching the ball - he seems to have a knack for some quality YAC.

I agree, i thought he was our second best WR last year after Wayne went down. I still have him 4th on my depth chart but could easily find himself as number two depending on wayne's return from injury and nicks health. I would be real made if he is cut.

I really think Whalen did a very good job. I feel pretty good about him still being a Colt this season. It is very important to have him on the roster as far as I can see. Not all of the receivers will be healthy for every game and his rotation will be needed.
