In honor of the fact that sb41champs actually took me "out" last night - to the awesome "Yuletide Celebration" featuring the incomparable Sandi Patty & the von Trapp Singers:

 

    Which contemporary Christmas song is your favorite?

 

 

   Which traditional Christmas song is your favorite?

 

 

  Did I mention that she beat the bejeebers out of me during the performance?  Guess I should be thankful there were ONLY two standing ovations..........

   Hey you - you BEGGED to go with me - so you get what THEY DESERVED !!  That said here are MY faves:

 

 

   CONTEMPORARY:  Jingle Bell Rock - which WAS my favorite BEFORE moving to Martinsville, IN - the home town of Bobby Helms.

 

 

   TRADITIONAL:  O Holy NIght - which was the show closing last night.  I had both teary eyes - AND - goosebumps.

Contemporary- the Vince Guaraldi instrumental jazz stuff is pretty great...

 

Traditional- O Holy Night is pretty good, O Come All Ye Faithfu isn't bad either...
